Since it's that time of year when men are forced to be nice to the ladies and buy flowers and candy and shit, I've got a greeting card series that my friend Cindy sent me. Here's the first one.

I will be printing a stack of these off for my girlfriend to give me when she forgets my birthday/anniversary/whatever other important day of my life.
Let's put it this way; guys are not allowed to forget birthdays or anniversaries. Ever.
Posted by: Ralph Gizzip on February 14, 2004 03:02 PMI look at it this way. I wanted my ex-husband to do something special with me 5 days a year: rescue squad installation party, Valentine's Day, our anniversary, my birthday, and Christmas Day. The other 360 days of the year I didn't expect any extraordinary effort from him. I considered this to be a reasonable request.
No, he would pick a fight one or two days before the event so he wouldn't have to do anything, or either make my life so miserable if I "forced"him to do something with me that it just wasn't worth it. And had the gall to wonder why I left him.
