Bush Is Hitler

Dontcha just get tired of the clueless liberal fuckwits who keep ranting about Bush being Hitler? Not only does it not make any sense, but it trivializes what a monster Hitler was.

I have a new troll who pulled that Bush is Hitler crap. I enforce Godwin's Law on this site and told him that. Here is part of his response.

Godwin's law says nothing about the validity of making a comparison to the subject [GW Bush in this case] and Hitler. I recommend picking up a newspaper and READING IT!, or can't you think for yourself?

Evidently this little twit cannot read. Godwin's Law in part "once this occurs, (comparison to Hitler or Nazi's) that thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. " My site. My rules.

But let's just look at it as if Bush were Hitler. Since the booger eatin' moh-ron challenged me to pick up a newspaper and read it let's just think about that. If Bush were Hitler, we would not be able to read or hear any dissent since Bush would have shut down all opposition media. Yep! If Bush were Hitler there would be no ABCCBSNBCCNNNPRPBS, the new liberal radio network (Good luck Al! You're gonna need it. You ceased being funny a long time ago.) , Washington Post, New York Times, LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Atlanta Urinal and Constipation, et. al. All the liberal sites on the internet would be shut down. So tell me again how reading a free and open opposition press proves Bush is Hitler? This is gonna be the problem with liberal radio. Liberals do not do very well with facts. I read that the dude bankrolling it is willing to endure three years of red ink. Good for him! That's money that won't be given to Dimocrats.

If Bush were Hitler he would use the Secret Police (The FBI) to accumulate information on his enemies and have over 1000 of those files at the White House.

If Bush were Hitler he would have his Attorney General incinerate a bunch of religious wacko's in Texas killing many women and children.

If Bush were Hitler he would send his storm troopers to scare the living shit out of a little boy in Miami and send him back to the hell hole that is Cuba.

If Bush were Hitler, he would fire long time White House employees and then sic the Secret Police on them to besmirch their reputations.

If Bush were Hitler he would sic the IRS on any organization that supported the other political party.

If Bush were Hitler, he would break campaign finance laws and then obstruct the investigation.

Let us not forget that Nazi stands for National Socialist. The Nazi's were not a right wing party they were a left wing party that supported gummint control of industry.

If Bush were Hitler, he would be in favor of having the gummint take over the health care industry in this country.

If Bush were Hitler he would be in favor of stringent gun registration. This is what the Nazi's did in the 30's. Then they confiscated the guns.

If Bush were Hitler and the Iraqi war was all about oil he wouldn't be very smart. All he would have to do was conquer Canada or Mexico and take their oil. Wouldn't be too hard to do.

If Bush were Hitler, those retards demonstrating at Karl Rove's house would have been rounded up and shot.

If Bush were Hitler, 95% of the people in Hollywood would be rounded up and shot. And this would be bad because ... ?

If Bush were Hitler, Dimocrats would be put into reeducation camps. And this would be bad because ... ?

If Bush were Hitler Condi Rice and Colin Powell would not be in his administration.

If Bush were Hitler, Congress and the Supreme Court would have been abolished by now.

If Bush were Hitler, we would have bombed France by now. And this would be bad because ... ?

If Bush were Hitler, we would not have to put up with Cynthia McKinney's big mouth. And this would be bad because ... ?

But Bush is not Hitler. If he loses the next election, he will step down. Unlike what the moonbats over at Democratic Underground think, our republic will endure. Someday, this country will become a socialist dictatorship but hopefully I will be gone by then.

I suggest all you idiots who think Bush is Hitler go read some history. I realize that they don't do a very good job of teaching history in the gummint schools anymore, so you will have to do it on your own.

As I said at the start of this post, Hitler was a real monster. Comparing Bush to Hitler, not only shows your ignorance and stupidity, but also trivializes the crimes committed by Hitler.

Damn right! I love it!

Bush is not Hitler. Not even close. Hitler was an evil, wicked, but brilliant man. Bush is Karl Rove's puppet. He is the front man for a league of selfish, greedy, arrogant men. None of which reach the level of dispicable evil that Hitler did.
I am a liberal but I am not a fuckwit or stupid. I value freedom, and prosperity. What I see happening to the freedom of speech (free speech zones for protesters, people being told they will be arrested if they wear anti-Bush campaign buttons in his hometown in Texas, ect) and the chipping away at our personl liberties frightens me enough that I feel like I have to speak out. Too many have died for our rights for me to sit back and watch them be taken away. Not without putting up one hell of a fight. I am fighting for what I believe in.
Maybe it's easier to lump us all in to one big group of nuts, than to listen to what we have to say. Yes, we have some crazies, as does the right. But over all we're people who love our country every bit as much as you do.

i agree with you 100% that stupid comparisons between leaders we don't like, and hitler, demean the brutality that so many suffered under national socialism. what makes me uncomfortable, though, is that this tendency shows up in comparisons between saddam and hitler, or bin laden and hitler, or "villian of the week" and hitler. we can look at men like saddam and bin laden and recognize the destruction they have caused, but even 9/11, as horrible as it was, cannot compare to the atrocities suffered by jews in concentration camps. it seems outlandish comparisons can creep in on both sides of the debate. which only serves to trivialize, in the case of bin laden/hitler comparisons, the seriousness of the twin towers tragedy, at least for me.

Liberals by definition are stupid fuckwits who hate freedom and despise prosperity (other people's prosperity). They do however, make great parrots. Now we get to see the latest trendy mantra "Bush is Karl Rove's puppet" added to "Bush lied people died" "no blood for oil", etc. crayoned on protest signs. You know what a mantra is don't you? It's a verbal formula chanted over and over again to drive one into an hypnotic state. That explains the vacant glazed looks on most libs.

"If Bush were Hitler Condi Rice and Colin Powell would not be in his administration."

Or Rod Paige, or Elaine Chao, or Norman Mineta (only the pure races need apply), or Gale Norton, or Ann Veneman (can't have women outside the kitchen you know), or Donald Rumsfeld, or Paul Wolfowitz, or Alan Greenspan (those pesky Joooozzz), or even Dick Cheney (doubt he would serve with his daughter in a camp).

Good thing he doesn't have a cabinet that looks like America, people would think the wrong thing.

Posted by: Rich on April 1, 2004 03:42 AM

Wanda - Yet you were probably silent when the same stuff was done during the Clinton administration. Even after Clinton left office, Hillary's goons beat up protesters at the St. Patrick's day parade in New York City. The protest zones started under Clinton not Bush. And when did you hear of protesters going to anyone's house during the Clinton administration? Conservatives do not beat up protestors. Union thugs, who are on the side of liberals do, and on a regular basis. Bush is Karl Rove's puppet? Puh-lease! When are you liberals gonna start using your brains. You cannot believe that any Republican president has a brain, yet you admire failed presidents like Jimmah Carter.

When commenting on this site, try to use a little bit of intelligence or you will be ridiculed. Stop spouting this Bush is stupid and Bush is Karl Rove's puppet bullshit. You've been spending entirely too much time over at the DU.

Oh. One more thing. During the Clinton administration at one of Clinton's speeches a member of the audience shouted, "You suck!". The secret service hustled her and her husband out of the hall and within weeks she was audited by the IRS. That is an example of stifling free speech. This has not yet happened under the Bush administration. It is only liberals who stifle free speech. Check out college campuses. Conservative speakers are always shouted down.

Political correctness is another way that liberals stifle free speech.

As for Jonathan's remarks, it might have something to do with the apparent notion on the left that anyone less evil than Hitler - by even a few percentage points - isn't worth doing anything about.

Posted by: Dave on April 1, 2004 03:34 PM

dave: i fail to see how you went from "less evil than hitler" to "isn't worth doing anything about". is this an attitude you detected in my comment? or are you painting a verrry broad picture, and attempting to include me within it?

I like to suck my own dick.

Posted by: Um Yeah on April 3, 2004 04:28 PM

Um Yeah... Shrub lied? If you would get your head out of your rear end long enough to see what has been going on in the world, you would realize Mr. Bush acted on less than accurate intelligence information. Just like everyone else in a position of power and responsibility did at the same time. Lie? Hardly!

Al Gore lost the last election. Grow up and get over it.

Posted by: Bob on April 3, 2004 04:47 PM

I just wanna know, what makes someone more evil? The amount of people they kill? As far as I'm concerned, Saddam, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, and all the other oppressive dictators the world's seen are in the same category. Just because one doesn't kill as many people as the other doesn't change the fact that they're all malicious, coldhearted people with no respect for humanity.

Hey, Denny, sorry that Mmm Bop crapped in your yard. I think he came from 4RWW. Is it the Michigan one, or the original Shitcliffe from Long Island? There are three of four sad sacks wandering around under the nick, Lefties being limited and all.

Oh please - Some lame ass troll craps in the comment section, and when Denny deals with it you want to cry censorship? Give me a break.

Sorry 'bout the infestation, Denny. But hey, spreading the love is what I'm all about. Just wear protection, I guess.

Posted by: Raging Dave on April 4, 2004 08:21 PM

Again we see someone who does not comprehend the meaning of the word 'censorship'. If you come on my property and I tell you to shut up, it is not censorship. If the government tells you that you cannot speak, it is censorship.

Very slowly: Government imposed...censorship. Person or company-imposed...not censorship.

And you may want to work on your grammar and diction, as it is lacking, to say the least. Let's take a look:

Either your comments are being hacked, [no need for comma] or your [your? You are = You're] displaying the same type [of] censorship the Republicans wish to bring in with Georgies [George's? Georgie's?] reelection [An example would be appreciated]. I'm guessing censorship [Seeing as how you do not know what the word means, feel free to guess wrongly]. As most rights [use a proper noun to show that you mean a political group] can't stand free verbal debates [as opposed to costly verbal debates?] that may [may is the operative word] present facts they disagree with [One does not normally disagree with facts. That is why they are, well, facts. One disagrees with opinions and calls into question facts].

There is a manifest lack of clarity in your writing that may shed some light on your thought processes and why you have the poltical opinions you do. Sloppy thought leads to sloppy writing and poor life choices (e.g., aligning oneself with the political left).

Denny, thanks for your intelligent, entertaining, though slightly profane blog. When are the "blood for oil" folks gonna start conserving gas, I wonder? If everyone who voted for Gore in the last election and who will vote for Kerry in this one cut their gas consumption by 10% we could probably join OPEC. I guess that would be too much action, and not enough bullshit, eh.

if bush were hitler, he would use the percieved threat of attack to keep the population under control and force warmongering agendas.

if bush were hitler, he would target members of a certain ethnicity in the name of nationality.

bush is not hitler, nor is he even close. however he does exhibit several equally deplorable and egomaniacal traits. running the country based from his own born again christian beliefs seems quite contrary to the whole idea of separation of church and state. bringing in jerry falwell as a spiritual advisor? c'mon now. and how did good ole haliburton manage to get the contract to rebuild iraq, which by the way, wouldnt have needed to be rebuilt if we hadnt destroyed it. they had no wmd's, and posed no direct threat to the US. there was never any link between saddam and al-qaeda, or any terrorism against the united states. pre-emptive strikes are strictly forbidden by international law, and treaties that we helped develop. if we went in to "liberate" the people who were so downtrodden, why dont they want us there? why didnt we invade and liberate any of the myriad other countries in which people are more oppressed? im not a democrat, a republican, or anything else for that matter. every administration has fucked up in some way, but this is quite possibly the shadiest group of dealers that have ever run our country. a proposed amendment that would be the first to take away rights, based on religious bias, as well as the patriot act, taking away our privacy; a "gummint" spying on its own citizens. i do suppose it was about time to finally ruin iraq though, we've been bombing it nonstop since the first gulf war.

i cant remember a time when ive ever liked a politician in general, nor can i remember a time that ive especially despised a politician, until gw. regardless of the outcome of the election, we've begun our downward spiral. china is gonna take our ass out someday, and its gonna be some fireworks show.

also, the liberal media is the most conservative drivel ive ever read. all outlets of mainstream media in this country are controlled by six corporations, corporations which happen to benefit greatly by bush's policies. fox news? c'mon, change news to propaganda. its a shame when you have to read british newspapers to find out whats really going on in the world.

socialism has never worked out well, this is true. capitalism would never have worked had ww2 not happened. we were completely in the shitter before war mobilized our country, and allowed us to become a superpower. its like a game of risk, and we just happened to get a good roll of the die. it could have easily gone the other way. we should be thankful for all the genius european scientists that fled here from hitlers wrath, who helped us make the bomb first. seems strange that so many intellectuals are choosing to move to other countries during the current administration here at home...

i guess i just cant understand how anyone can hold your point of view, just as you cant understand how i can hold mine. i also dont get how you can say republicans have to "fix" democratic era budgets. i dont remember anything good ever coming of reaganomics. what ever happened to star wars anyway? its reared its ugly head under the new name, intercontinental balistic missile defense system.

but you know, i can rant all i want and it wont change anything, and you can do the same. i wonder if people felt this way in the last days of rome?

well, you know what they say... when in rome... and i hear romans drank and fornicated like madmen. theres something this government can never take away from me. well, unless i happen to be gay. the bible says thats wrong.

I have been taking entirely too many drugs! I am paranoid! I actually think Janeaeane Garofolo and Al Franken make sense.

Posted by: Andrew Ostroff on April 22, 2004 05:29 PM

I stronly believe that comparisons as such cannot be made buy I was highly interested in your view on things. I thought you were being sarcastic and were actually a liberal. As I looked down upon you list I started noticing that perhaps 40% of what you wrote was in fact very possibly true about this administration. If you are going to defend Bush, you should not be giving free ammunition to the other side.

Posted by: peter ford on May 15, 2004 04:52 PM

Peter - WTF? 40% true? About 75% of it would be true about the Clinton administration which is the point I was trying to make. I would like for you to point out to me the 40% that you think is true about the Bush administration. Then I would like you to tell me what kind of drugs you are on and where I could get some.

Posted by: Denny Wilson on May 15, 2004 05:18 PM

corporations which happen to benefit greatly by bush's policies.

Gimme a break. Anyone who says there's a conservative bent in the media is kidding themselves - the majority of people who do so are radical lefties who are upset that the media won't follow their sketchy conspiracy theories about how Bush timed Saddam Hussein's capture, or how Cheney's promoting chaos in the Middle East, or how Wolfowitz is a vicious Zionist who wants to kill all Muslims, etc etc...

I think the liberal media theory is a bit exaggerated, at least in my experience of watching nightly news, but it's there at times.

Corporations may benefit from Bush's economic policies, but nightly news has goals of ratings and cash. That's why the phrase "good news doesn't sell" exists. The whole corporate media deal is just plain bunk. The only way the media would be balanced in the "corporate media" conspiracy theorists' eyes is if it moved as far to the Left as Noam Chomsky.
