Reminds me of a man who used to panhandle on Guadalupe St. in Austin. He'd always be holding up a rough cardboard sign that said: "WILL TAKE VERBAL ABUSE FOR SPARE CHANGE"

Used to be a guy at the bottom of the off ramp from I-8 to Sports Arena BLvd in San Diego who'd hold up a sign that said: "Why lie, need beer, please help"
