Look what Reagan's funeral did. This must be the first time Bill and Hill have slept together in years.

What a class act!
OMG.. that's a great line. Will be propogated through the blogosphere in no time.
On a chat board I visit, there are people arguing they are bowing their heads! Only those with warped input processors would think that.
Posted by: zeluna on June 11, 2004 11:55 PMExactly the 'Kodak" moment I mentioned ealier in your Poor Bubba post!!
Pics are much better than just words.
Posted by: WestCoaster on June 12, 2004 02:39 AMOkay - I'm playing devil's advocate. From the look of the Fords behind them, I think this was taken during a prayer.
But then, look at Bill's expression. What exactly do you think he's praying for?
Heh...
Posted by: JPatterson on June 12, 2004 04:49 AMAgreed, I think this is during a prayer. Good tag line, though.
Posted by: Jack on June 12, 2004 06:03 AMIf you got to Fox.com and watch President Bush's eulogy, it shows Hillary in just that state: asleep. Unless she was praying for lightening to strike President Bush as he spoke, there wasn't any prayer going on during the Clinton's nappy time.
Posted by: PamelaRN on June 12, 2004 07:35 AMSorry... foxnews.com, but you probably already knew that.
Posted by: PamelaRN on June 12, 2004 07:37 AMI never say this, but "lol."
Posted by: Steve H. on June 12, 2004 10:53 AMHey, they have to be experiencing sleep deprivation. Public places are their only place to really rack out.
Given the baggage Slick Willy brings to Hillary's political career, as well as the free publicity and sympathy vote his passing would bring to her, would you sleep soundly in a private area with Hillary anywhere around if you were him?
Considering Bill's trying to create publicity for his book, as well as really wanting a convenient shield against all of the constant unearthing of new scandals about his past administration, would you sleep soundly in a private area around Bill if you were her?
Posted by: xCavTrooper on June 12, 2004 12:12 PMI am not surprised they probably had a late night party after the bars closed the night before :)
What was really funny was when their heads were bobbing around -- nothing like live Television - They have shown no grace, knowing where they were going to be that day common sense would have told them to go to bed earlier the night before
On second thought, this looks like a movie poster for the sequel "Sleeping with the Enemy."
Posted by: WestCoaster on June 12, 2004 04:15 PMI've been running a captioning contest on this for a while.
Posted by: Aaron's Rantblog on June 13, 2004 01:25 AMHey, this was not a prayer! I watched the whole thing and they were not praying at the time!!!! Classic!! It's a good thing Bill was not asked to Euologize President Reagan or he might have missed his cue!
Posted by: Debbie on June 14, 2004 01:27 AMI watched the whole incident, (Thank you, Jimmy Kimmel Show) and Bill is clearly sleeping (Hil, was awake to start). If you ever watched someone doze, you notice how relaxed their face gets, Bill's face is sliding. They also showed Prince Phil dozing. Also, one must consider the time differences and the long flights these people had to make. I have sleep apnea and drop-off all the time if i am idle. My kidz have taken pics of me and it makes me look old.
Posted by: KATHY on June 14, 2004 09:17 AMBill probably feels safer sleeping with Hillary in a public place. He probably locks his door in private.
Elizabeth
Imperial Keeper
Hey...asleep with Hillary..certainly an oddity that the two are sleeping together.
Posted by: john on June 14, 2004 10:34 AMThey're democrats....what do you expect? They have no respect for the values of this country or for the former GREAT leaders of this country....both of them should (will) burn in hell.
Posted by: Jen on June 14, 2004 10:51 AMI'm a democrat. For people to judge one another based on a picture is hardly honest or patriotic. To base one couple's actions(that may or may not be) on all other democrats is wrong in every way. This is why the U.S. is so divided. Find some real facts for your statements to save yourself the embarrassment. If all we have that is factual about the Clinton's is that he cheated on his wife, get a grip republicans. There's greater issues like women and children dying every day.
Posted by: brandon on June 14, 2004 03:16 PMThe Clinton's are pond scum. Deal with it. Maybe as a Dimocrat, you should reign in some of your liars like Michael "fatass" Moore. Bill Clinton was the most corrupt president this country has ever seen. End of discussion.
Posted by: Denny Wilson on June 14, 2004 03:31 PMoh yeah, wishing people to burn in hell doesn't give you a spot in heaven and only shows that you don't have the heart of a true American. Love thy neighbor. And from the picture ya'll (george bush style)are looking at, it looks like everyone behind them is sleeping as well. notice...I didn't make my statement factual. this has to be one of the most biased and hateful republican websites I've seen. You all should be embarrassed of yourselves. You guys/gals must have forgot about GW's DUI or his cocaine fits. No one's perfect but we're not hating Bush for drug problems he had or the drunken binges he went on. Would it be the same had he hit your little kids on the road? All I know is that I'm 22, a father and a full time employee paying my own tuition for college and I paid into taxes last year w/out a refund. WE are in the poor tax bracket as you can clearly see(working for a fortune 500 company). Also note, America is in it's worst financial trade debt in history. Also note that our roads are in horrible shape. Notice how we are trying to take care of a bunch of people who hate us overseas and we have starving people here in the states. I understand the concept of a global economy, but when do we base our priorities on us Americans? Instead of a group of folks oil investments. I have a friend that retired from Halliburton Oil that died just before Bush/Cheney was elected and predicted all of this madness. We'll see how this new government will do then we'll see how much ya'll are talking then.
Posted by: brandon on June 14, 2004 03:56 PMIt's spelled Democrat. smart fella. And you got all the facts in the world backin that one up. Go back to the spelling bee and keep practicing. In the meanwhile, study your political history and what the republican state of mind is. Forget it, just go back to the 1st grade and find out what a true DEMOCRACY is, then come talk your crap. Oh that's right, you won't have anything to bitch about except the way our government is ran(which is held by republicans) Think about your grandchildren not about yourself.
Posted by: brandon on June 14, 2004 04:03 PMBrandon - Do you really want to demonstrate your abysmal stupidity by commenting on this site? You are part of the working poor because you are an idiot. Read this carefully.
I call people like you Dimocrats because you are stupid. Dim.
I am not a Republican. I am a small l libertarian. Had you read more of my stuff you would know that.
Either you slept through history class or you had a stupid teacher. This is not a democracy. It is a constitutional republic. There is a big difference but you are too fucking stupid to realize that.
Maybe this country is in such bad shape because Clinton was too busy getting blowjobs to run the country. The recession started on his watch. And the starving poor bullshit, that's all it is bullshit.
Maybe if you had done better in school you wouldn't be such an idiot. Now run over to the DU site and drink some more Kool Aid or start your own web site. You're probably too fucking stupid to do that.
Oh, btw, I am not in the poor tax bracket. I am in the top 5% of income earners. I probably pay more in taxes than you earn. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I piss on stupid pissants like you. Go back to school and actually learn sumpin' other than Dimocrat talking points and maybe you may make sumpin' of yourself. But I doubt it. You're gonna spend the rest of your life blaming your failures on people like me.
I know, I shouldn't feed a troll, but Brandon, you are just so stupid I cannot help myself. Go away little troll and cry about your miserable existence elsewhere.
Posted by: Denny Wilson on June 14, 2004 04:51 PMWhen i sent this picture to my dad on email, he said, "this is what they will look like in their caskets."
HA!
Posted by: Emily on June 14, 2004 05:00 PMI watched the whole funeral. Bill and Hill were sleeping during a eulogy not a prayer. They really do compliment each other don't they? What a pair.
You know... Brandon may have a point. West Virginia (my beloved state) is so Democrat oriented that many of our long (long... long... long) running politicians switched from another party just to get elected. West Virginia tops the charts in everything! From welfare usage to taxes to unemployment to low wages to CRAPPY ROADS... shall I go on? Good thing Dems like tourism and we are rich in natural beauty. Otherwise, we would be screwed big time.
Posted by: PamelaRN on June 14, 2004 07:07 PMHey Big Denny. I have a college degree but you da man. The only way you express your emotions is by talking about your insecurities and using fowl language. Believe me, no one that is in your so-called tax bracket admits that they're making that. And if your a liberitarian, that means you have a democratic base except you smoke weed too, and believe in a more natural evolution of society. I'm a political science and environemental major. Don't feed me your insecurities Den den. Anyone can talk shit. It's called a stance too, not a talking point. And this is a Democracy, where the people are the government (or are supposed to be). You try history you fuckin Yuppie, braggin about how much you make. Please, you see Ralph Nadar braggin about how much he makes. Please.. Your the definition of arrogance....which doesn't make you any political party....just an asshole. Go discover yourself and come out the closet. Put on your pink shirt and your tassles on and go piss on some pissants pal. Looks like I got somebody pissed, my intentions. thank you.
Posted by: brandon on June 15, 2004 07:26 AMBrandon truly acts his age. There are so many things wrong with your posts that I don't know where to start. Perhaps Denny will devote some time and pick you apart like an autopsy. I will, however, clarify a couple of things for you. First, you blame big oil on big Republicans. Ask your friend who retired from Halliburton about the contract they received from the Clinton Administration to rebuild the Balkans. Why did Enron donate significantly more money to the Democrat party than to the Republican party? You see, big oil goes way beyond the Republican party, little boy. Secondly, the United States of America is a REPUBLIC. Definition: a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them. Read the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance. It is you who doesn't understand history. A pure democracy would be devastating to this country, primarily because of whiny children like you.
Lastly, don't bitch at the Republicans for our trade deficit. Since you know so much about history, then you know that it was Bill Clinton who signed NAFTA. Furthermore, Labor Unions only support the Democrat Party, and it is a well-known fact that the rampant and unreasonable labor contracts between Labor Unions and Fortune 500 companies have driven jobs and products out of this country. But then again, that's all the Republicans' faults, huh? At your age, you should be in the books studying and not spewing your ignorance on the Internet.
Brandon, keep the passion, but you must direct it properly. The twenties are years for learning. Leave the politics for the adults.
Posted by: Paul on June 15, 2004 02:50 PMBrandon, dear - It's not prudent to bring a knife to a gun fight. And, if I may, I would suggest that before you critique the education of another, you learn the proper spelling of your own major.
Posted by: Indigo on June 15, 2004 11:20 PMHey Brandon, future spelling bee contender...Denny doesn't use "fowl language." If he did he'd be clucking. A fowl is a bird...you know, a chicken, duck or silly goose like yourself. The proper term is "foul language." It's ironic that everyone your age knows positively everything. Wait a few years, you'll be positively astounded to realize that the longer you live the less you really know about anything. Except that Hil & Bill are wretched excuses for human beings, of course.
Posted by: Woody on June 16, 2004 11:16 AMbrandon, give me one instance of a starvation death in the us? what crap. if someone is starving to death in a land of food banks, shelters, church-based charities, emergency welfare, food stamps, hospitals, etc then it's suicide by stupidity. most of us at age 22 were in a lower tax bracket, so suck it up. if the us had control of the world's oil, then why is the price so high? we pay for it on the world commodity market like everyone else. oil reserves are diminished, period. expect the entire world to pay more for the diminishing supply. trade and budget deficits come and go throughout economic cycles, and this isn't the worst in history. google your facts, please. you come across as a real whiner.
Posted by: onecent on June 16, 2004 07:07 PMHey Brandon: if we as a country are as bad as you liberals say, why don't we just throw on our jackboots, and take over the oil fields in Iraq? Why finish there? Why don't we run over Saudi Arabia, and any of the rest pissant Arab countries and take their oil too? Just knock the shiite' out of them and take their oil. Side benefit: pest control. Raid for Islamic terrorists. Terminix for bad toothed, RPG-carrying Knuckleheads. Black Flag for Alluh Akhbar chanting, murdering cowards. The collective IQ goes up in all those countries, and oppression of women goes down, and real freedom might even start to creep in. John Stuart Mill climax 2004 style. Thomas Hobbes's "nasty, brutish" experience crushed like a wasp nest. Michael Moore/Karl Marx boxed up, doused with diesel fuel, and sent to an incinerator.
Pay attention to the posts on here Sonny Boy. I was a poli-sci major just like you, idealistic, and liberal. Heck I was even a card carrying member of PUSH (you might have to resort to the history books to find out what that was.) Then I graduated, and got out in the job market and found out first hand the REAL benefits of liberalism, namely reverse discrimination. That woke me up real fast. If you don't believe in reverse discrimination, I'll be happy to give you a first hand account of what happened.
