A Scroungy Gator

When I was in the Navy my first year consisted of boot camp and electronics school. The other three years were spent on amphibious ships: an LSD (Long Slow and Dismal) and an LST (Long Slow Target or Turd). Amphibious ships are referred to as the Gator Navy.

Ships take on water while in port, but they cannot carry enough fresh water so they make a lot of it out of sea water. Unfortunately they can not make enough of it for the needs of of the ship and crew so sometimes we would have to go on water rationing where fresh water was only available for showers and shaving on certain hours of the day. I did my part. One of the times we went on water hours I quit shaving. That explains my appearance in this photo.

Oh my goodness! My heart is aflutter!!

I find that photo to be incredibly attractive and sexy.

Forget GQ. Men look their best to me right after they do physical work.

Must be my genes hearkening back to cave man times.

Did you ever know a man named Alan Harn? He was in the Navy for 12 years and he was into instructments and electronics. He was on several ships.

You were a hottie with your grunge look!

LOOK at those eyes!

That enigmatic smile! The tee-shirt-less chest, the cock & cant of his cover.

Now, look over his left shoulder: that's me still today. Beer, glasses, left-handed, and partial to tee-shirts (my cover squared-away).

To me, it's no wonder we agree to meet on Saturday mornings for 'boobage'. And both of us sloughing-off, posing for holy-pictures while we still have work to do.

Turn TO!!

Dan - The guy behind me was drinking a beer. This was one of our beer on the pier moments when they let us partake of beer while the ship was beached. This was probably Danang.
