No wit and whimsy as I have a Sommelier Guild of Atlanta tasting tonight. We don't know what food we're having as we have told the chef at Murphy's to surprise us, but here are the wines.
Sometimes it can be a real rough life.

Posted by: Michael on September 22, 2004 10:46 AMPlease tell us how you liked the late-harvest Reisling for dessert. Those are generally among my favorite wines. The late-harvest Reislings and Gewurtztraminers have such interesting, complex flavors, and the sweeter dessert wines are even tastier.
'S a pity that Tabor Hill Winery, in Michigan, hasn't hade any late-harvest Reislings recently :( I'd love to get some, but I haven't found any wine stores that carry their wines. No, they're not the greatest wines in the world, but they're not bad, especially for the price.

Posted by: Easycure on September 22, 2004 03:57 PMMichael - I didn't bring the updated copy of the wine list home with me so I don't know. Sorry.
Jeannette - The late harvest Riesling was excellent.
