So GOC, you may say, he lost, why are you still picking on him? I'm picking on him 'cause this election allowed us to see the real John Kerry. We were able to revisit his lies to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. We were able to revisit his suspect military record. He never did sign the release form for all of his military records. What was he hiding?
We were also able to see what the Dimocrats have become: The party of Michael Moore and Jimmah Carter. Jimmah was the worst president of the 20th Century and the Dimocrats revere him.
If Jimmah Carter, Michael Moore, and John Kerry had been alive during the Revolutionary War, Jimmah would have been on the side of the British, Michael Moore would have been a British propagandist, and our name for traitor would have been John Fonda Kerry instead of Benedict Arnold. So yes, I will continue to pick on him until he resigns from the Senate and leaves national politics.

You really have nothing else to talk about, do you?

Posted by: jay on November 4, 2004 05:50 PMGOC,
Please tell me why Jimmah was the worst, (isn't that reserved for the clintons?) I ask for 2 reasons, 1st, I was 15/16 yrs old in 1981 so I don't know much about him, and 2nd, when I googled his bio to try to answer my question myself, I see he's all but been nominated for sainthood and, has several children that could conceivably find their way into politics, so I'd rather hear your version.
Thanks for explaining!
Posted by: sherry on November 4, 2004 08:34 PMSherry - Why Jimmah was the worst is worthy of a post but here's the short version.
Under Jimmah with the aid of a Dimocrat Congress we had the highest misery index (Inflation + unemployment) this country had ever seen. Inflation at one point was 18%. Because Jimmah and the Dimocrats put price controls on gasoline we had massive shortages and gas lines. Then the Iranians took our diplomats hostage and Jimmah looked like the incompetent boob he was. Then to top it off, he blamed the American people by talking about a national malaise.

It is worthy of a post. Now that you're among the retired, at least make a note to discuss further the reasons why Carter is such a POS. Future generations will need to know, and the sure as hell aint gonna get it from the history books.
Posted by: daniel on November 4, 2004 09:44 PMI, for one, in my generation would like to know more! I guess I was spoiled, having served under Reagan. Although I have read several of the former hostages' books, I didn't realize it was "all that bad."
I barely remember the gas lines, but I didn't know anything about price controls. I have never paid much attention to domestics where Pesidency's are concerned, so I see your point.
My interests have always been focused on foreign policy, and it seems to me, we wouldn't have this war on terrorism today if we'd had a president during the clinton years.
I agree with Daniel, when you find the time I'd love to read more. Thank you for answering me, I don't often comment on blogs, and didn't want you to think I was trying to be a troll or defend a dem, I just thought the last dem was the worst, we'd EVER had, and I am always open to learning something new.
Posted by: sherry on November 4, 2004 11:34 PMNot me, Denny. I've relgated Flipper to the Dustbin of History, and I'm now picking on the Dimocrats at large. ;)
[I can make a lot more enemies at one shot that way. ;)]
