From Airboss. This is a K frame M-13 .357 fixed sights.
Posted by denny at November 24, 2004 11:45 AMNice! If I remember correctly, the K frame 357 was always the model 19, which with a 4 inch barrel was standard issue for many police departments for a long time. Or its stainless version, the model 66, which my step dad had as a Dallas cop.
I know many folks started boycotting S&W because of their flip on liability issues a few years ago, but I still think they make a quality firearm. At least my experience has always been good, with their shotguns too.
Posted by: daniel on November 24, 2004 01:47 PMOops - I just read your description that it is a Model 13, also part of the Military & Police Line. Also a wonderful shooter.
You considering this one too?
Posted by: daniel on November 24, 2004 05:06 PMAre you set on a revolver? An old vet told me he always carries a semiautomatic with as large a magazine as he can. If he needs it, he has enough for everyone. Reload faster, too. Get a longer barrel that is compensated, keep your sight picture...
Just curious.
Posted by: Dan on November 26, 2004 11:13 AMDan - These are Aiboss's selections for concealed carry guns. Who knows? I may want a Glock or sumpin' similar in my bedside table altho' everyone says a sawed off shotgun under my bed is a better home defense weapon.

Posted by: will on December 15, 2004 04:52 AMIt is interesting because lots of my readers like guns.
Posted by: Denny Wilson on December 15, 2004 12:00 PMOh I must be mistaken. I thought they may have wider interests than that.
