I have so much to be thankful for this year that it would take me too long to write about it. Here is a very short list.
I'm thankful that I lasted 31.5 years at TCIDNN (The Company I Dare Not Name - at least until the end of the year) and I get full retirement and medical.
I'm thankful that I finally got to meet Kim and Connie du Toit. I'm also thankful for all the Georgia bloggers (and some non-Georgia bloggers) I have met this year. Every blogger I have met has been a great person.
I'm thankful for all my readers. I'm also thankful for all the new readers I continue to pick up.
I'm thankful for all the complimentary e-mail I get.
I'm thankful for all the jokes, images and puns sent to me by readers.
And I'm really thankful that my sister is cooking Thanksgiving dinner today.

I'm doing the brunt of the cooking here at my house--and lovin' it. I'm one of those types that adores being the cook...as long as SOMEONE ELSE does the cleaning afterwards! *wink*

We're thankful that you are still whole and healthy in spite of being in a very dangerous area. We are thankful for what you do in attempting to eliminate a serious threat to America's well being and to western culture as we know it. As you always have, you make us proud.
Media reports are that Al Zarqawi may be holed up near your base. We're praying for your safety and that of your fellow soldiers in Cobra company, 'cuz things could get intense there. That said, if you find yourselves in the middle of a serious "shitstorm", PLEASE BE SURE TO GET THE MURDERING BASTARD and return HEALTHY. That too would be cause for thanksgiving.
