Act Like You've Been there Before 2

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Rachel was wrong! Minnesota lost. I was torn about this game since Minnesota and Philadelphia have the two biggest assholes in the NFL: Terrell Owens and Randy Moss. But since Owens is out, I wanted Moss to have a bad game, and he did. No end zone bullshit for him.

Now let's contrast Moss with Warrick Dunn. Here is a guy who is class both on and off the field. When he scored his two touchdowns Saturday he didn't do a dance or any other end zone bullshit. He ran over to the stands and handed the football to the fans. There was no dance when Alan Rossum scored his touchdown. Same with Crumpler. The only demonstration was when Duckett scored and went to his knees and made like he was pounding the football into the ground. Don't know what that was all about unless he was signifying pounding a stake into the heart of the Rams.

Dunn, off the field, sponsors a program to put single mothers into their own homes. He puts his own money into it. He did the same thing in Tampa when he played there. That was one of the reasons Arthur Blank, the owner of the Falcons, wanted him as a player. He wants players who not only contribute on the field, but contribute off the field as well. Dunn is not the only Falcons' player who gives back to the community.

Next week we get to see the Falcons play at Philadelphia. We'll see if they can stop Vick.

Peyton Manning sure had a bad day didn't he?

Just a clarification. The hammering of the football was to signify the "nailing of the coffin".

Budman8 - It wasn't necessary. The score pretty much showed it. Duckett's action was redundant. Still, he didn't do a dance.

I hope the Falcons beat the shit out of Philly. I hate the friggin' Eagles and especially TO.

Quite frankly, I'm rather surprised someone hasn't taken out Randy Moss just so he'd stop breathing the same air as us decent folks.

Stop Vick ? Did you see some of those plays that Jeremiah Trotter and Jervon Kearse made ? .... Sorry my Iggles Green is showing again ...Anyway Good luck shall the best team win

livewire - It depends on which Vick shows up that day. Tampa Bay (once), Detroit, Kanses City, And Arizona were able to stop him. The way he carries the ball he's prone to fumble. When he is on his game I don't think there is a team in the league that can stop him. Remember that Kearse played for Carolina, and Carolina never has been able to defeat Vick. That having been said, I think your team will win. I'm hoping I'm wrong.

They said on the TV because of the possiblity of snow on the field Sunday might favor Vick in that the slick surface will slow the The Eagle defence down and only Vick will know where he is going making harder to intercept him (running not throwing)on the other hand the severe cold it's 24 degrees here now and it's supposed to be colder on Sunday will hurt the Falcons because they are used to the dome ..

I say just the opposite. The ice and snow will make it harder for Vick to run. He won't be able to make some of his incredible cuts.

Two years ago they said the Falcons were at a disadvantage going to Lambeau Field for the playoffs since they couldn't play in cold weather. They handed the Packers their first ever home field post season loss.

Once again, I think your team will win but we won't know until they play will we?.
