MLK Day

I got an e-mail from my sister chiding me for not writing anything original in the last four to five days. But why should I. My readers like guns, gore (not Algore, just gore) and boobage. I deserve a little time off every now and then. Try writing some sort of an original rant or essay five times a week. By the way, according to Sitemeter I had my best weekend ever.

Maybe I could write sumpin' about Martin Luther King Day. If I did I would then have to write about RWPP's (Race Warlord Poverty Pimps) like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Maxine Waters who have used the victimology philosophy to enrich themselves while doing nothing to improve the lives of the people they are "helping".

Noted moonbat Maxine Waters, who once opined that the crack epidemic in the poor black community was created by the CIA, said sumpin' incredibly funny lately. While marching for abortion rights she said she was doing it because her mother didn't have the right to choose. Having the possiblity that Maxine's mother could have aborted her makes me wish that abortion had been legal back then.

I guess I would also have to write about the failure of gummint to educate blacks. The Atlanta public school system is controlled by blacks, just like the Atlanta gummint. They spend over $10,000 dollars per student to give them a crappy education.

I would have to write about what MLK would think about the anti-achievement mentality in the black community. About how doing well in school was "acting white". Would he be as vocal as Bill Cosby has been about the state of black education?

I would have to write about what MLK would think of successful people like Colin Powell, Condi Rice, and Clarence Thomas being called "Uncle Tom's" or "Aunt Jemima's" by the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Cynthia McKinney. How would he feel about that?

I would have to write about what he would feel about the Dimocrat Party taking the black vote for granted while doing nothing to help blacks other than the same old failing social programs and blaming black poverty on Republicans and racism. How would he feel about that. I don't know. I'm just curious.

Does anyone other than me note the irony of Al Sharpton, a man who has never had a job, having a television program on Spike TV called I Hate My Job?

Blacks overwhelming support vouchers to get their children out of failing schools. The people responsible for those failing schools, teachers unions, are against vouchers. Looks like teachers unions have more of a say in Dimocrat policies than blacks.

I would also have to write about what he would think of affirmative action and the lowering of standards for blacks. Why are their college admisssion standards lower than whites or Asians? Is it because they are dumber? I don't believe that, just like I don't believe whites are dumber than Asians. Would he deplore the soft bigotry of low expectations? But then, this goes back to the failing schools in large metropolitan areas that are run by, (Tada!) black Dimocrats. Holy shit! They're screwing themselves.

So, I guess I just won't write anything of substance since I only have questions and no way to get the answers.

What would MLK feel today if he were still alive?

Hee hee. My hits were off the scale, too. I wonder why? ;-)

Posted by: Funkalicious on January 17, 2005 01:51 PM

Perhaps some black boobage would be in order for today? I don't think MLK would object to that.

Posted by: Robert on January 17, 2005 03:47 PM

MLK is just one more example of a pretty average Lefty loudmouth who was glorified into the history books to become a legend in his own lunchbox by a similarly-inclined bunch of Looney Lefties.

How would he feel today?

Like a 76 year old fucking stupid Looney Lefty, that's how!

Posted by: Jim from Downunder on January 17, 2005 05:24 PM

King eased restrictions on a few million blacks on a path already well leveled [by me, among others] while he helped enslave 20 or 30 million into communism.

Posted by: Walter E. Wallis on January 17, 2005 07:20 PM

What drives me crazy is when people like Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga) say things like "If Martin Luther King were alive today, he would tell the president to bring our men and women home from Iraq." Now, I get sick of these so-called civil rights leaders purporting to speak for someone from beyond the grave, and especially saying things inconsistent with what that person said when he was alive. I think I'll come up with what Teddy Roosevelt would say about American backbone and commitment.

Posted by: Woody on January 17, 2005 07:28 PM

If MLK were alive today, the only thing we know for sure he'd be saying is:

"Get me out of this damned coffin!"

(sorry Denny, couldnt pass up a cheap dead-guy joke. your post is so right-on, i cant add or detract from it directly)

Posted by: daniel on January 17, 2005 08:15 PM

Denny, about your stat of 10000 / per student by the Atlanta pubic (I know) school system, is that per year???
I believe it might be, which is totally incredible.
maybe we should investigate that?

Posted by: Richard on January 17, 2005 08:26 PM

Woody - MLK was against Viet Nam so he would also be against Iraq. John Lewis was hit too many times with clubs during civil rights marches and is a doddering idiot. Don't get too close to him when he talks.

Richard - According to the audit conducted last year, it is over $10K per year. Including construction and maintenance it is over $12K per year. aren't you glad your kids went to Gwinnnett County schools?

Posted by: denny on January 17, 2005 09:26 PM

MLK, being a communist womanizer, would probably think the current state of affairs, relative to blacks and the dimocrat party, are just fine, and should continue as they are. IMHO, MLK is the perfect role model for blacks. Heh.

Posted by: Vulgorilla on January 18, 2005 07:02 AM

I agree with everything you said Denny. As long as the black population continues to hold up men like Jackson and Sharpton, they will never get anywhere. The city of Detroit has been a MESS since it has had its list of black mayors. I keep wondering when the black population is going to wise up and start following the right leaders without calling them Uncle Toms.

Posted by: Anastasia on January 18, 2005 01:25 PM

When will you learn that you can not tell us who our leaders are, or should be? Jackson and Sharpton are not leaders of the black community, where do you get your information about the black community? I'm sure you do not know any blacks personally! Cosby is a comedian and he hasn't said anything new. Sure what he said applied to some but not the majority. He is not a leader nor a role model. All black leaders are assasinated, you even kill them earlier now before they make any real impact.

Posted by: The Realist on January 18, 2005 04:12 PM

Wow, Realist, you've changed my mind. Really. I'm a new girl now. I'm going to unchain the slaves I keep stowed in my super-secret underground cotton plantation and send all my money to Louis Farrakhan, then dye my skin and have my hair permed and rename myself "LaShawna" in protest of my evil whitey heritage. I'm ashamed of my race. How dare we exist? And all this time I thought my half-Japanese neighbor was a fine upstanding Catholic woman. I didn't know she was secretly killing black people behind my back! And I guess since I don't actually know any black people, the good folks I go to visit on a weekly basis are actually white people in disguise who just happen to cook some damn fine cornbread and turnip greens. And several other friends of mine are just crackers in shoe polish. They're all fakes.

Oh where in the world would I be without your keen insight and near-psychic abilities? You've described me to a tee. Really.

Drooling leftist dipshit. What an irony that the group that screams out against racial stereotyping is the very same bunch who rabidly stereotype anyone who doesn't blindly follow the same herd as themselves.

I'd say go back to burying your head in the sand, but in order to do that you'd have to remove it from your ass first.

Realist - You must have graduated from the Atlanta Public School System.

Posted by: denny on January 18, 2005 10:33 PM

Wow you guys really hurt my feelings. I was mistaken you guys know all about the black community. I would never attempt to change the minds of the superior white race, just look at your history you guys really have a lot to be proud of and us po black peepole dont no nothin but pickin cottin and eatin chicken.

I'm sorry I accused you for the slaying of black leaders or anyone else that you view as a threat. They are not assasinated they step in the path of stray bullets.

Eyes so confused lemme fine my masser

The new black race doesnt need or want anything from your race. Affirmative Action, Welfare? Who do think you are fooling. Its a whole new era we no longer fear you.

What MLK did for the black community, non-violence, marching, protestinge is all futile. Acquire knowledge get your education and take care of your own.

Love the white race as much as they love you.

Hey Denny I'm well educated by the way (tutored by whites as well)my father worked with you at IBM.

Posted by: Realist on January 19, 2005 11:27 AM

It's a whole new era and we don't give a shit whether you "fear" us or not. I never had the urge in my life to look down on someone for the color of their skin. I don't make friends with ANYONE who does so, and I do not tolerate it.

You say "love the white race as much as they love you". Well, I have many friends of many different races and heritages, and about the only thing I ask of any of them is that they treat me with the respect I treat them. I judge people by--surprise--the content of their character, not the color of their skin. Do those words perhaps sound familiar?

The sad fact is, you've already paraded your own brand of racial intolerance all over this comments thread. You look down on US.

By your own standards, MLK would be disgusted with you.

Realist -

"The new black race doesnt need or want anything from your race. Affirmative Action, Welfare? Who do think you are fooling"

Thats the whole point - Jackson, Sharpton, Waters, Lee, all those self appointed black leaders, thats the crap they keep pushing under the guise blacks need it to gain equal footing with non-minorities. Where are the leaders of the black communty who can stand up and tell these folks to shut the hell up, those things don't help, they only hurt? Cosby did it. Know anyone who else who has?

Daniel-

Much Respect to you.

Posted by: Realist on January 19, 2005 05:06 PM

Denita GrandDragon-

Who's comments are you reading? If you knew any blacks or if they really considered you a friend maybe you would know who the true black leaders are. Half of my family is white so please don't try to make me the racist.

LaShawna..........what is that all about you racist twit.

Posted by: Realist on January 19, 2005 05:14 PM

Do I know your father? Does he know me? If he worked with me he knows that I'm no racist. Never have been. Never will be. By "black leaders" I am referring to those self anointed leaders like Sharpton and Jackson. Please tell me whom you believe the leaders of the black community are. The Dimocrats also recognize Sharpton and Jackson as being your leaders and since 90% of blacks vote Dimocrat it appears a majority of blacks feel the same way. Maybe you missed the point of my post.
1. I think blacks are every bit as smart as whites and deserve all the rights and privileges as any other American.
2. I think education in the urban centers where poor blacks live is a crime. Both the NAACP and the Dimocrat Party are against vouchers while the majority of inner city backs are for them.
3. We poor uninformed whites have been told that Jesse Jackson is the successor to MLK. And look at the way the Dimocrats annointed Al Sharpton as a "black leader".

On to other things. You make the same mistake with me that you accuse me of making with you. I had nothing to do with the assassination of MLK nor did I ever engage in lynching parties. I have always thought blacks were equal to whites. I grew up in Webster Groves Missouri and attended integrated schools. I even went swimming with black people and never worried about any of the color coming off in the pool. If I ever used the word "nigger" my mother or father would have slapped me into the middle of next week.

You may want to ask your white tutor for a refund or learn proper sentence structure and punctuation. Your writing skills leave sumpin' to be desired as do your thought processes. That led to my crack about the Atlanta Public schools. If you intend to debate me or my readers try to do so logically and cogently without ad hominem attacks. The cry of racism just because someone is white is bullshit and you should know better.

You have a lot of anger Realist. I feel sorry for you.

Posted by: denny on January 19, 2005 06:15 PM

The true black leaders are people like the wonderful family down the street, who have raised a beautiful family full of polite and incredibly intelligent people who don't give a shit what fucking color my skin is, you ignorant anal prolapse. They're people like a comedian named Bill Cosby. They're people like the woman who raised my Mother just as much as my grandmother did. The true leaders aren't spoiled-ass primped and pouffed basketball players, they aren't racist assholes like Louis Farrakhan, they aren't a bunch of pimps who think they can sing, and they CERTAINLY don't include YOU.

Nice to see how quickly you reduced yourself to a name-calling, easily-offended, prickly racist. I can practically see your head bobbing in high-minded righteous indignation from here. At this rate you'll devolve into a hissing, spitting mass of bile and venom before the comment-counter hits 20.

"GrandDragon", hm? Sheesh, you must have worked on that one for a whole day. Did your head hurt afterwards...?

Denny-

I never called you a racist, according to my dad you are a pretty decent guy. Your website is great.

The Dragon lady jump in and made her ridiculous comments that were so off base. I simply made a comment because you seem to have overlooked all the good that MLK is responsible for and that's fine. He may not have done anything for you but he started a movement for the black community.
In reference to black leaders you named (self-appointed) says it all. We do not view them as leaders, maybe a small majority. Many black leaders were kill by the hands of whites which is well documented.

I have no anger towards any race, but towards ignorance. You can not put MLK and Jackson on the same level. Come on, get real.

Thanks Denny

Peace and love

I never called you a racist, according to my dad you are a pretty decent guy. Your website is great.

"...I'm sure you do not know any blacks personally!" (Not necessarily racist, but definitely implying racial ignorance on the site owner's part...)
In the same comment:
"...All black leaders are assasinated, you even kill them earlier now before they make any real impact." (Implying that the site owner and others have murderous intent towards black people...)
Later comment, further reinforcement of above statement:
"...I'm sorry I accused you for the slaying of black leaders or anyone else that you view as a threat. They are not assasinated they step in the path of stray bullets."
Assumption upon the part of the accuster that the commenters and site owner are racists:
"...I would never attempt to change the minds of the superior white race, just look at your history you guys really have a lot to be proud of and us po black peepole dont no nothin but pickin cottin and eatin chicken."
My comments--

Yeah, that Civil War thingy was nothing. Really. Nor was the thousands of toher cases of whites protesting the unfair treatment of blacks...

And calling me "Denita GrandDragon" wasn't implying I was a racist either. Sure.

Is there air on your planet?

Continuing...

The Dragon lady jump in and made her ridiculous comments that were so off base. I simply made a comment because you seem to have overlooked all the good that MLK is responsible for and that's fine. He may not have done anything for you but he started a movement for the black community.

The Dragons Lady "jump" in...? Did you pay attention to your tutors? Or did you not bother because they were white?

Yes he started a movement for the black community. He wanted you to be EQUALS. As in, who gives a shit if you've got a darker tan than me, let's just fucking drop this and judge each other by how worthwhile we are a people. He would have been disappointed in hum-jobs like you, who have a mental yardstick with which they measure every white person's actions towards them. You're the kind of ass who is CONSTANTLY factoring race into every event that occurs around you. If you get shortchanged by a white man, he's probably stealing from you. If you get stuck in the express lane behind a white woman with 14 items, she's oppressing you in some way. It doesn't matter that they were just making a mistake or are just being stupid in general, you're the kind of oversenitive mouthbreather who will take it as a slight to your race.

I seriously doubt MLK would have wanted that. In his name, an entire nation of prickly, oversensitive assholes has arisen, who squeal "RACISM!!" at any slight however real or imagined.

In reference to black leaders you named (self-appointed) says it all. We do not view them as leaders, maybe a small majority. Many black leaders were kill by the hands of whites which is well documented.

Hey Realist--it called "-ed" and it goes great after certain words. It's called "Past Tense". Go back to your tutors and get remedial lessons.

I'm sure many black leaders were killed by whites. I'm sure some were killed by other blacks, some orientals, and the occasional purple polka-dotted martian on vacation. What does it fucking matter? It's just as much a crime, no matter who does the killing.

The way that is phrased, it sounds as if you're saying that if a black man kills a white leader, it's no deal at all. Whitey got what he deserved. Or how you'd say it, "Whitey got what he deserve."

I have no anger towards any race, but towards ignorance. You can not put MLK and Jackson on the same level. Come on, get real.

If you have no anger towards any race, why is race an issue at all? If are angry towards ignorance, why don't you educate yourself without showing an obvious bias?

I will agree with you that Jackson and MLK aren't on the same level. I'm willing to concede that MLK was a man with good intentions. I believe Jackson is trying to twist those intentions to his own means. I think a LOT of otherwise good black people have twisted those same words. Same goes for you. If you hadn't, you wouldn't have cared what color your tutors were, and you wouldn't be spending your time calling me "Denita GrandDragon".

Thanks Denny

Peace and love

Do more than say it. Show it.

Denita-

I'm multi-racial from a mixed marriage and my appearance is white. Review your comments after my first comments. You started the name calling and the derogatory remarks toward me. That's fine and expected. You just dont get it "Why is race an issue?" Race is an issue in this world regardless of what you think or how you feel towards your fellow man. Racism is alive and well especially in America. You might be a beautiful person that loves every race and wouldnt harm anyone...........but there are white people that are bent on exterminating the black race.

Imagine if the white race were enslaved for centuries then subjected to prejudice and racism after they were supposedly freed. Do you think this would affect the generations that follow? What would be the state of the white race had they been subjected to this?

We could all sit back and say "Oh I'm not a racist, I didnt enslave anyone, I'm not responsible for my ancestors actions."

That doesnt change a thing and racism continues.

Denny-

Keep up the great work.

Peace and Love

Posted by: Realist on January 21, 2005 10:36 AM

Oh good grief.

There are Muslims bent on exterminating everyone except themselves.

There are Asians bent on exterminating the Tibetan race.

There are blacks bent on exterminating the white race.

There are Martians bent on exterminating the Earth.

There are huge protozoans from Planet X'Zy!nik bent on exterminating the sapient carrots of Mr. Robinson's Inter-Cosmic Vegetable Patch.

You can either spend your life shielding yourself from an attack that may or may not come, and develop a lovely set of raw nerves for your efforts--or you can be a model for the very man whose name you elevate so highly and not let the opinions of a fly-speck few ignorant racists affect your day.

I am part Irish. If you studied history as much as you claim, you'd know that the Irish were also slaves at one time. Does this mean I hate the British? No. I also have Jewish heritage. I guess that makes me REALLY screwed up, because I'm also part Italian. I'm a veritable melting-pot of cultures and races that have been either oppressed or oppressor at some time in their history.

Do you have any American Indian in your bloodline? I have a friend that is 75% Cherokee. Does he hate all Americans for the crimes their forbears committed? No. Why? Because the sins of the father do NOT directly fall on the shoulders of their offspring--UNLESS SAID OFFSPRING CONTINUE THE ATROCITIES.

Another thing that gets left out of most lessons concerning black slavery is the fact that the first slavers were Africans themselves. When the white man came across the pond and landed in Africa there were tribal leaders OFFERING slaves to them. That's how the whole thing got started. Whitey just jumped on the offer, but it was tribal factions who went out and snatched their enemies' daughters and brought them in for sale. Look at the Tutsis and the Hutus, who STILL fight each other and mutilate each other and rape and enslave each other.

I'm glad your mother and father could see past their differences in skin color and forge a bond of true love. I wish you could do the same. Maybe someday.

Realist - Look at the Jews who were enslaved in Egypt and now have been reviled for over 2000 years yet they continued to persevere. Even after the Germans tried to obliterate them as the Arabs are trying to do now. The black race does not have a monopoly on racism or slavery. Greeks were enslaved by Romans as were Gauls, Germans and other peoples of the ancient world. In the Byzantine Empire one of the rulers was descended from a slave. It's time to quit dwelling on the past and looking toward the future. Is there still racism in the United States? Yep! It's how you react to it that counts. Blaming all the troubles on whitey is a cop out and gets you nowhere. Overcoming adversity makes one stronger. That is why I despise false prophets like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and Cynthia McKinney who have enriched themselves preaching the politics of victimhood.

I'm still curious as to who your father is.

Posted by: denny on January 21, 2005 11:50 AM

Denny-

Leaving in the past? Monopoly on racism and slavery? HELLO! We are still living it, it hasnt past. What's wrong with you guys! Everyday a black person is reminded that race matters by WHITE PEOPLE. Of course you dont see this, you are only going to see the end result. How many people are going to publicly admit to being a racist/prejudice? You will not be there when they decide to administer their hate. These people are your friends and neighbors, they are not a seperate society.
I am not blaming anyone and it really doesnt matter if you disagree. We shall overcome are die trying. If the world were full of people like you and Denita, I'm sure we would have racial harmony. Well maybe not Denita her messages are filled with hate and deratory references.

UNLESS SAID OFFSPRING CONTINUE THE ATROCITIES.It is quite obvious "SAID OFFSPRING" has continued.

Real is real.

Denita- such language coming from a lady, you seem to be a very pasionate person. Calm down before you blow a gasket or something. Continue to preach harmony maybe one they we will get there as PEOPLE (all races).

Peace and Love.

P.S. Denny he describe you as a very bright man that loves life, oh he did say you were a bit of a smart ass. (smile)

Posted by: Realist on January 21, 2005 01:27 PM

That is it. I've given up on you. You'll see "slavery" everywhere. It's like those cheap X-Ray specs you find advertised in old magazines that just have hand bones painted on them. Just because you see them doesn't mean that it really exists.

I mean, last time I checked I don't see a damn shackle anywhere. You're not being forced to work against your will. You're not being shoved into a tin shed with twenty of your brethren and expected to eat scraps. You're not burning in the hot sun picking cotton.

The only one seeing the "slavery" is you.

You're hopeless. How the hell you manage to go throughout your day is amazing. You must be a really fun person to hang around with.

Take off the glasses and get a friggin' clue.
