I assume that award was for being the single worst actor in the world, EVER.

Hay he does a great job on Boston Legal, its one of my fav shows

Posted by: Greg DiCroce on January 18, 2005 12:49 AM

Saw him on some talk show last night...decided maybe I don't need to go to the gym after all. I look good next to KIrk.....

Beam me up Scottie !!

Captain !! The transporter can't handle the extra load, I'm afraid only part of you will materialize in the transporter room.

Chief engineer....energize !!

Damnation! what the hell happened to Kirk?

Posted by: Pharaoh on January 18, 2005 04:17 AM

Oh, leave him alone. He gave us one of the most memorable television characters. Plus, the line of Star Trek motion pictures was successful (that's a HUGE understatement). I don't think he's the worst actor ever. Leave that to Cybil Shephard or George Clooney or one of the other liberal Hollywood freakazoids...

Holy Bejus! If he's that fat, I don't want to see the "captain's log." It might break an Al Gore toilet.

kirk is a god and it's not a good idea to piss off a god. kirk could whoop those fucking iraqis in an hour. okay, now that he's older it might take a 2 part show.

Wow, he's fat. But that's better than Bones. He's dead.

gotta give him props for still kicking it while many of the other cast members are pushing up the daisies.

hey, he's fat but he's not Kirstie Alley fat.

Posted by: Stonydell on January 18, 2005 12:04 PM

My goodness what a buncha judgmental snobs. I bet more than half of you do not look to great yourselves!! You should all be ashamed. Kirstie Alley is a beautiful women - you are a clown.

Posted by: Anastasia on January 18, 2005 01:17 PM

*Looks down and reflects in shame*

Naaaah!

Kirstie Alley IS really cool and is NOT ashamed to be a big fat hog. And she's WAY fatter than I could ever get if I tried!!!

Anastasia - It's a joke. Develop a sense of humor. And thanks for calling me a clown. The purpose of a clown is to make people laugh and it looks like I succeeded.

Posted by: denny on January 18, 2005 02:04 PM

Anastasia is too tightly wound.

Must be another bed-wetting, whiney ass liberal troll. ;)

"Kirstie Alley is a beautiful women -"

Huh? I saw a recent picture of her, and without exageration, she could play "Norm" on Cheers with only minor facial makeup. I guess it just depends upon your definition of "beautiful", but mine draws the line at women over 300 pounds, and the latest Kirsty Alley photo showed her way beyond that. One think you can say though....she's a lotta woman! Heh.

Shatner's newest album is excellent - I would recommend a listen.

Posted by: Erik on January 18, 2005 06:29 PM

Yeah, Erik, along with Leonard Nimoys' albums.

Oh now...what have you done...must scour..."Lucy In the Sky"... out of my head now...

He doesn't look plump so much as OLD to me. Old guys sometimes plump out, their metabolism isn't that great anymore and they get that whole spare tire look going on. At 30 I'm seeing it happening to my husband--the man who used to be able to eat a 12-ounce steak and baked potato and STILL be hungry an hour later.

Awwww Shatner looks like a big ol' teddy-bear. A *RICH* big ol' teddy-bear...

It really is a good album - no kidding. And it doesn't have Lucy in the Sky on it...

I think this guy is OK, he has maintained a sense of humor, I like the priceline commercials with Leonard Nemoy in them.

Posted by: Greg on January 19, 2005 03:48 PM
