Disenfranchised Voters

Flipper's at it again. He's performing his Algore sore loser imitation and is claiming voter fraud and intimidation.

''Last year too many people were denied their right to vote, too many who tried to vote were intimidated,'' the Massachusetts senator said at an event sponsored by the state League of Women Voters.

Of course he has no proof of this but he's a liberal. He don't need no steeeenking proof!

Kerry backers have said voting irregularities in largely Democratic areas made it difficult for voters to cast ballots in the November election.

Lemme get this straight. Since these were "largely Demcratic areas" they would be Dimocrat precincts. Who runs the polls in Dimocrat precincts? That's like Florida. The people who had the most trouble with the ballot (designed by a Dimocrat, by the way) were Dimocrats.

Kerry also cited examples Sunday of how people were duped into not voting.

''Leaflets are handed out saying Democrats vote on Wednesday, Republicans vote on Tuesday. People are told in telephone calls that if you've ever had a parking ticket, you're not allowed to vote,'' he said.

What Kerry didn't say is that the people dumb enough to fall for these ploys tend to vote for Dimocrats, which doesn't say to much for your average Dimocrat. I wonder if we could get some Cynthia McCommie voters to believe this shit? (Actually Neal Boortz got into trouble a few elections back for announcing different voting dates for Dimocrats and Republicans. The powers that be were afraid that too many Dimocrat voters would actually believe it.) Anyone dumb enough to believe this stuff is too stupid to vote.

And speaking of someone too stupid to vote, I cite an example from Sunday's Atlanta Urinal and Constipation. In the letters section, Kriste Kline, of Lawrenceville Georgia wrote about the bill requiring Georgia voters to produce a Photo ID to vote. An excerpt:

Like Reed, I do not see this as being about race, but rather power. Oddly, I recall no outcry from the Georgia lawmakers who now claim to be concerned about fraud regarding the disenfranchisement of hundreds of thousands in Ohio last November.

Probably because it didn't happen. And even Michael Moore didn't say "hundreds of thousands". Kriste, I want you to remember that in the next election Republicans will vote on Tuesday and Dimocrats will vote on Wednesday and if you've ever had a parking ticket, you can't vote.

It's right there in the Constitution. Somewhere.

The Dimocrat Constitution is here.

I'm really sick of hearing about the disenfranchised democRAT voters. Has anyone ever met one? If you are too stupid to know where and when to vote, you shouldn't be allowed to.

Not only is Kerry an idiot but he also has a crappy staff. I can't believe he doesn't have anyone working for him who could research the claims he's referring to. Those claims originated in the Onion. That is a satire site. It was based on various email jokes that went around in previous elections.

What a maroon!

John Kerry, Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi, all remind me of why some in the animal kingdom, "eat their young"!

Yo John, it's time to 'piss on the fire and call the dogs"...give it a rest man, your ignorance is showing again!

LargeBill - He's talking to Dimocrats for chrissakes. They'll believe anything. And the Lamestream Media just repeats what he says as if it were true. Nope. No bias there.

As posted in comments here before, this is a good time to reiterate my call for requiring passing a basic civics test as a prerequisite for voter registration. Can I get a second?

They'll keep repeating it until people start believing it because enough time has passed and the truth has not been repeated as often as the lie. They aren't dumb, they're evil. There is a difference.

Is anyone surprised that Hanoi John would say such a thing? Remember, this is the guy who lied about the conduct of 2.5 million veterans and betrayed his country for his own personal benefit.Hanoi John reminds me of a line from "Dallas". When JR was asked how he could stoop so low as to blackmail a government official, he smiled and said "Once you get rid of your integrity, it's a piece of cake".

I'd like to see them purge the voter roles completely! Then to register to vote you have to provide a photo ID and proof of citizenship. Follow that up with a photo ID at the polls on the day of.

After hearing the weekend rants of the junior senator from New York(very Howard Dean-ish in her scream at the end) and the drivel from Flipper about voter fraud, I feel dirty;like I need to take a shower. As long as their message is still the same and is based only in obstruction of anything Bush, we are in good shape. They still have no clue that people are leaving them in droves. As a union member from the belly of the liberal beast, the dems are in trouble for years to come. The common folk here in Pa get it. The elitist editors and academia are what drives the phony perception of liberalism among the masses.

I'll second you Daniel. It would almost be nice to test at the precinct to see if you’re aware what you are currently voting on – especially the proposals. Most people get emotional about the ads and don’t research for themselves.

Yes Ralph, we should also purge the voter roles. I’d say annually if feasible. That would prevent a lot of dead people from voting in the future. Now, how to do this w/o taxing us more may be a problem.
