This brings up a serious question. If you are charged with a serious crime (regardless of whether you are guilty or not), should you opt for a jury trial or not?

The last people I sat with on a jury in Arkansas were the most pathetic, stupid individuals I've ever known. Long division could confound these people. I can't fathom a murder trial. Good God.
