What is ACADEMENTIA?

This could have any of many meanings from the state of mind resulting from too much study to the effects of political correctness on academia. I.E. upon the open discussion of reactions to art and upon the clarity of expression in open discussion. P.C pretends to be an avenue to fairness and open-mindedness, but it is repressive. You may only express your thoughts if they are the P.C. approved thoughts and expressed in the P.C. language.

Honestly, I don't really give a rip about Social Security either way. I'd prefer it be completely abolished but I know that won't happen any time soon. So I'll just work harder and make more money and focus on my own personal investments. I chose to view my Social Security deductions (twice what most people pay as I'm self-employed) as just another tax rip off that I can't control. I know that's what the government does best and I've accepted it and have moved on. Let the bitter dimocrits and the appeasing republicans continue to bicker over Soc.Sec. I won't let them control my financial future. Personal accounts or not, Soc.Sec. is still not personal. And, either way, I won't be including Soc.Sec. contributions in my retirement plan. If it's still around when I retire in 30 years, it'll just be an unexpected surprise. Kinda like that long forgotten uncle sending you a $5 bill and a card on your birthday when you're a kid.

Makes since to me. Bush attempts to give you something even though to some it looks like shit. The Dumbocrats are offering absolutely NOTHING!!!
