Our educational system might not be one of the best in Europe, however, our educational level is still higher than the poor USA level.
I've never met any USA students who really knows mathematics or physics, only small basis.
And even among specialists they always only know the minimum they need inside their speciality. I heard this from my teachers who went to the USA.
I took some American courses, really there is a big difference, you guys need to go to college to got to the level we have in highschool.
I got 800 over 800 for the GRE (american test) in math, without preparation ?!? (it was to enter the course).
USA highschools are Holiday Clubs, it's not schools, it doesn't worth anything.
Even working hard after (college) you will only be able to understand one single special field, because you begin being serious too late.
You still got some good schools. How many strangers do you have in your MIT? you see what I mean.
You have the money to buy brains, so you don't need to make them yourself ...
To make money all you need is money ... so you don't need to be wise.
Moreover you would be wiser, your governement would have people able to say NO, so that's easier to keep you ignorant.

He also seems ill informed regarding global warming, as there is more evidence to tie global increases in temperature to sunspots than to greenhouse gasses. Maybe he can tell us how greenhouse gasses which are heavier than air can have any efect on ozone which is lighter than air?
