Open The Door

They say as a result of the flooding due to Katrina, gators are gonna wind up in people's back yards.

Gators might be the only way to keep the looters away.

Uh, Hello? Is anybody in there?

Posted by: budman8 on September 1, 2005 09:06 PM

Ok wait a minute. It says there is only one comment on the page, but this will be number nine. Also, it says that it is 9:06pm? I live in the same time zone and it is just after 5pm. Are you stuck in some type of time warp?

Posted by: budman8 on September 1, 2005 09:15 PM

Maybe it is because most people are watching the horror of this ordeal on TV and they are gathering their thoughts. This is not an easy situation to analyze. It's like, "Hell yeah! Shoot them looters!" Don't make no differance if they are stealing baby formula or electronics. People need to learn the meaning of the word EMPATHY!

Does anyone know what is going on with Denny?

Posted by: Jeremy on September 1, 2005 11:55 PM

There appears to be some kind of problem with the system. when I posted the above, I got an error message.

Dearly BeLoved:

GWB can piss me off just looking out of the window of an aircraft name entitled of Air Force One!

YES, there ARE gas lines here in the ATL where one gets to WAIT to pay $3.99 for a fucking gallon of gas!

I have no idea whose 'fault' it is, but I know America has turned a corner in the great cosmic scheme of things;

I DO have an idea of why such things are transpiring; I think GWB is not lonely in culpability.

I had PLANNED to be on the great American Road over this Labor Day .....
I had PLANNED to be at the re-enactment of the battle over Antietam up in Maryland on the exact days 140 years ago that 96,000 Americans fought each other to a standstill .. that 26,000 died for -in a single day fighting- for what they believed in.

Did you 'hear' those numbers? Do you comprehend them?

TWENTY SIX THOUSAND AMERICANS LYING DEAD ON AN AMERICAN BATTLEFIELD AFTER FIGHTING EACH OTHER FROM 4 in the morning to six at night over a single day.

It was 5 years ago this very day that son Charlie went into the Navy @ Great Lakes, Illinois; it was 5 years ago to THE DAY that I went on 'Motorcycle 2000' (eleven West-Coast States over 30 days) ..... it was the day that Hitler invaded Poland starting World War Two.

Today, I can do no such thing in spite of plans, thoughts, cares, concerns; -gas simply costs too much. 5 years ago, I was bitching about paying 92 cents a gallon.

Did I mention anything about an illegal, ego-driven war in a faraway place called Iraq? Of COURSE not! In September of 1969 I was in close combat in the Quang Nam valley in another faraway place called Viet Nam.

September 1862 thru September 1939 thru September 1969 thru September 2005 is nothing but a straight-line continuum of a good honest American bewildered at what has become of them & what is asked -and answered- of us today.

Sorry, Tresea, but your message leaves me cold. I don't feel any sympathy or empathy for common criminals who steal and loot. The entire Black population should be ashamed of what we are all watching...those people are ALIVE and when I see them DEMANDING, COMPLAINING, BITCHING about their treatment it just makes me mad, not sad for them. They are lucky to be ALIVE...and should have followed instructions given by their pathetic state and local officials. All the Black "leaders" should be rolling up their expensive shirt sleeves and getting their asses to New Orleans to help ... rather than placing blame or being interviewed by Larry King. This is the state's inability to respond to an emergency situtation...thank G*d Rudy G. was in NYC during 9/11 and not these idiots..

Denny, where are you? Everything okay?

Posted by: Reiggin on September 2, 2005 01:46 PM

Denny, Hope you have all the technical problems fixed before its time for Saturday Boobage.

Posted by: Hugh on September 2, 2005 08:34 PM

The testing was Jesse, my tech support, testing out his fix. He done good. I'm back, and I'm pissed!

Teresa - As I stated in a post I made tonight, stealing food and water is one thing. That is survival. Stealing jewelry, DVD players, and TV's is looting. Shoot 'em on sight.

Dan - Thank an environmentalist. The gummint did sumpin' right in relaxing standards for the next 6 weeks. All 50 states can use the same blend of gasoline.

This hurricane was a natural disaster. Unfortunately, New Orleans is a city built in a terrible place with insufficient protection. They were flooded by Betsy. That should have been a wakeup call. It wasn't.

We need more refineries. We need more oil. We need more nuke plants. Unfortunately, the left has kept us from drilling for more oil, building refineries, and building nuke plants.

Vicki,..Re: "They should should have followed instructions givin by their PATHETIC state" Last I checked, most Americans are proud of All our states. What an ignorant comment to make. And did it not occur to you that some did not have the transportation to leave? And what about the tourists who were unable to get a flight out?

Posted by: Teresa on September 2, 2005 11:06 PM

Teresa...your bleeding heart is causing reading problems...I said 'their pathetic state and local officals'....get off your soap box before you slip.

Posted by: vicki on September 2, 2005 11:21 PM

Well Vicki,..at least you spelled my name correctly this time. Re: my so called soap box and bleeding heart,...I would'nt even know where to start,..As I said before,..this is a hard situation to analyze,...WHO is to blame?,..I am sure you have all the answers.
