Denny:

Why do you call Rob "Pumpman ?" I've been an avid reader of both your blogs for a year or so now and have yet to figure this one out. Did I miss something ?

Jim - After Rob's prostate surgery he had a pump installed that allows him to get erections. He calls it his bionic dick. I had an uncle who had the same surgery and I called him Uncle Pump for years. My Uncle Pump was in his late 60's or early 70's when he had his surgery. I asked him why he did it. His reply? "I'm a cocksman." It must of been good for him since he died in his 90's. So, since I had an Uncle Pump, when Rob got his bionic dick I started calling him Pumpman.

Oh yeah. Rob hates cats so I periodically have to cat bomb him.

Duh, Now I get it. I knew all about the Bionic Roscoe, just never connected it with the title of Pumpman. Sheesh.

Gonna have to stop by Rincon and meet that dude one of these days. Have been by the Jawja Welcome Station on I-95 about 7 times in the last two months, as am in the process of moving to Orlando from the DC area (and my Mom lives in Orangeburg).

Where does your sister live in SC ? And where did her husband grow up ? I'm an ex-Sandlapper - Dad was a Methodist preacher and we lived all over the state. You and I also share a Navy connection. I believe I was serving on arduous shore duty in the PI while you were enjoying yourself on that LST off Vietnam.

Jim - My sister now lives at Lake Carolina, a new development in Columbia. My brother-in-law grew up in Westville, a small town northeast of Columbia.

Rob is nicer in person than he is on his blog, as am I.
