In Europe, instead of $25, $45, $75, $90 the gauge would read 50, 100, 150, 200 euros...

In scandinavia it would read just around 2x that much, thank god we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Actually, the gas guage should be calibrated just the opposite. It should tell you how much money it will cost to fill it up. So the $25 mark should read $90, the $45 can stay $45, and the $70 mark should read $25, and the $90 mark should read $0. Less math to do that way.

Even at $3 a gallon our gas is much cheaper than in Europe. Their gummints tax gas to try to reduce consumption.

Altho' the trolls on this site do not realize it, I do allow differing opinions. But, those opinions must be presented rationally and politely.
