My blog buddy Jim had to leave his home, the Sloop New Dawn, and head inland. I wish him the best and hope he doesn't lose his home.
I met Jim in person at Kim du Toit's birthday bash last year. We talked politics, sailing, and guns. I was a sailor before my accident.
He also made CNN. The screen capture is on his site.
I talked to him on the phone twice in the last week and he is in good spirits despite what may happen.
