Comment From Burnie

Oh man, I just live for comments from LWBMs like Burnie. Rob called him an asshole. It's so much more fun just to ridicule what he said. Usually one of the Addisons jumps in and tears him a new one. This time they left him for me. Let's examine his commment.

You guys are very ignorant of the true welfare recipient-A white, for the most part, very wealthy individual with maybe two or three houses and a fleet of lawyers.

Just damn! That leaves me out. I only have one house and one lawyer, but I do have three cars. Does that count for anything?

In his very first sentence, Burnie has declared his socialist beliefs. Y'see he's stating that the gummint is giving this rich white guy money. In the case of Ted Kennedy, John Kerry and a bunch of other politicians that would be true. Burnie thinks the gummint owns all the money and by giving a tax cut to "the rich", the gummint is giving "the rich" welfare.

I think it was Thomas Sowell who asked why it was greedy for someone who has worked to earn money keeping it and it is not greedy for someone who has not worked for any money demanding some of it.

The top 1% of the income earners earn 17% of the income and pay 34% of the taxes. How much is their fair share? He calls "the rich" welfare recipients. Here is a welfare recipient. (Hat tip to Scott for the link.)

FALMOUTH - Dionne White's 6-pound bundle of joy - Cape Cod Bannister, or ''CeeCee'' - entered the world at 5:19 a.m. Tuesday.

And yesterday was Dionne White's 37th birthday.

How sweet.

Four of White's children are with her and her husband, James Bannister, at Camp Edwards, along with about 180 other displaced New Orleanians being sheltered at the military base.

So is her family back together?

Three of her children, all of whom have been accounted for since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region earlier this month, are in the custody of the Department of Social Services in Louisiana.

How many children does this woman have? Well, her oldest is 21. She is 37, so she started downloading babies at 16 and she now has downloaded 13 total. She's obviously good at it and we get to support her.

Even with her retired husband's Social Security income and her disability benefits, she acknowledged the tremendous financial responsibility she has as a mother of 13 children.

She violated every single rule of avoiding poverty. She hasn't finished high school. She had her first baby at 16 and has probably never held a job in her life. In Burnie's world it is probably my fault and I'm greedy for wanting to keep my money and not give it to someone as irresponsible as this woman.

I would like you guys to lay down your arms for a minute and listen to something I have to say. We are all brothers and sisters on this bus earth,

Holy crap! When did planet earth change to bus earth?

and the wealthy and powerful do not care one iota what happens to us, those in power want us to fight and call each other names and grow a very great divide between us.

Dude. I'm wealthy and you're right. I don't give a fuck what happens to you peasants. Starve fuckers! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

It is called divide and conquer a policy carried out with great success all over the world.

OK. Socialist/liberal/Dimocrat talking point number one out of the way. Let's try to hijack the comment thread into something totally unrelated to the post. This is a typical troll trick.

Listen we have a war killing our brothers and sisters and their brothers and sisters based on lies.

Socialist/libera/Dimocrat talking point number 2. Bush lied. People died. Burnie, this is one of the reasons Rob called you an asshole! Stick to the fucking subject! I put that little Autorantic Virtual Moonbat thingy over there on the side to make it easier for you LWBMs Just hit the RANT button. It saves you the trouble of spewing your incredibly ignorant and stupid commments on my site. It also saves Rob the trouble of calling you an asshole, when he could have had so much more fun ridiculing you and it keeps the tone of my comments more civilized which will please Marcel. He is a valued reader and commenter and I don't want to lose him.

The terrorists are one thing, Iraqi citizens another-I don't like terrorism anymore than you do, but the killings of our soldiers will stop if we bring them home where they belong.

Socialist/Liberal/Dimocrat talking point number 3. Kumbaya. If we give them what they want they'll let us be. That worked real well with Hitler in the 1930's didn't it. Appeasement never works. They want to kill us all or convert us all to Islam. This is why we call you people stupid assholes. The terrorists have made no secret of their goals, yet you think if we just try to discuss things with them peacefully everything will be just fine and dandy.

We have no business fighting this illegal war, the cost is so astronomical as to put America in a possible tailspin, we are borrowing money from China for god's sake.

Just like we borrowed money from Japan in the 80's and 90's. You dipshits were gloomy about that, too. I remember Japan was gonna take over the United States.

George has put us in peril as a nation, I know you will let me have it for this, but it is time to come together as brothers and stop this insanity.

Nope, it was Clinton who put us in peril.

I was in the service, I was ready to fight for my country but since then I have done a lot of reading and came across this-part of a speech by Eugene Debs a union organizer at the turn of the century, he was arrested for sedition and this is what he said at his trial in september of 1918:"They have always taught and trained you to believe it to be your patriotic duty to go to war and have yourself slaughtered at their command. But in all the history of the world you, the people, have never had a voice in declaring war, and strange as it certainly appears, no war, by any nation in any age has ever been declared by the people."

Eugene Debs? Eugene fucking Debs? Not only was he an union organizer, but he was also a fucking Marxist. Eugene Debs? You have the unmitigated gall to post sumpin' by Eugene Debs on my site? Jesus H. Christ Burnie! You are an asshole. Sorry Marcel, Rob was right.

I am not trying to be a wise guy, what I am trying to do is get you to open up to other possibilities, other ways of thinking.

Dude. Your way of thinking is called socialism and appeasement. Neither of them have worked anywhere they have been tried.

You guys are very patriotic and you love America. Well, so do I, just as much as you.

No. You. Do. Not. You want to surrender to the terrorists. I'm sure you probably think the UN is a wonderful organization. I'm surprised you didn't bring up Kyoto.

If you decide to comment on my site again, try to demonstrate some intelligence.

Eugene Debs. I cannot farking believe it!

"Nope, it was Clinton who put us in peril."

Nope, it is (some) Islamic Fundamentalists who put us in peril.

Posted by: majelix on September 29, 2005 05:01 PM

First off, Debs had lived through WWI, which means that he should have been aware of the overwhelming public support for our entry into WWI. President Wilson fought against it (his re-election campaign was basically, "Wilson kept us out of the war.") Public sentiment, however, made it clear that the American public wanted to enter the war - even ethnic Germans and Austrians. Wilson asked for a declaration of war, and got it.

Our entry into WWII, which was after Debs' little idiot rantings, was even more supported than our entry into WWI (having the Japanese try to destroy our Pacific fleet probably spurred more people along.)

The idea that "the people" have never supported or wanted a war is patently absurd, especially with Debs' knowledge of, what would have been to him, recent events. Most Americans supported our invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, also.

Why do liberals insist on quoting people with no relevance and/or who are absolutely incorrect in their suppositions and facts?

Geez Denny, I had just apologized on the original post to Burnie for calling him a-hole...

CM:

Liberals insist on quoting people with no relevance and/or who are absolutely incorrect in their suppositions and facts, because Liberals themselves have no relevance and are always incorrect in their suppositions and facts.

Bernie said,

"I would like you guys to lay down your arms for a minute and listen to something I have to say. We are all brothers and sisters on this bus earth,"

Bernie, you need to sit in the back of the "earth bus" and what to you mean by lay down my arms? Give up my right to bear arms?"

Pretty much off-topic here, but go check out the "Million Moron Movement" discussion on

Actually, Majelix, when it comes to Islamofacists, we have been fighting them since our nation was formed. Shortly after we won our independence, our ships in the Mediteranian were beset by Pirates from Tripoli. Our first battle with Islam, and what were the Europeans doing? Appeasing them, paying a toll rather than exterminating them.
Fast forward to the 20th Century. Our embassy in Terran is attacked, and Coward, makes a laughing stock of our nation, our military, and public policy in the middle east. The Islamo facists are emboldened and our bases are attacked.
Give Clinton a little credit, very little, but a little. He did bomb a few tents and camel dung piles. What he should have done is mailed Saddam a bottle of Windex, and nuked Baghdad to glass.

I think Bernie is a passenger on the "short" bus we call earth. You remember those from school don't you? It's the one that the "special" kids rode on. That's you Bernie. "Special"

Brothers and sisters on the earth bus....

Stuck on Stupid rule applies here....

Posted by: vicki on September 29, 2005 09:22 PM

I had to hold my nose when I read that Eugene Debs quote. Unbelievable.

Majelixalot, had Clinton confronted Islamo fascism instead of getting head in the Oral Office, and had we not allowed you looney-tooney liberals to turn our CIA into a bunch of diversity blanket weaving pussies, it is quite possible that there would not have been a 911. True, terrorist Muslims attacked us, but we allowed it to happen, and Clinton's disastrous foreign policy (or lack of) only emboldened our enemies.

Posted by: Paul on September 29, 2005 11:44 PM

No, blame peanut or Nixon. Dick should have taken out terrorist Arafat after he approved of our diplomats being assassinated.

Peanut in 79 should have given the Marines bullets and ordered them to stand our sovereign territory- even Khomeini said if we fought back his revolution would have stopped.

1500 y.o. war, the world will be at peace when the world is under Islam, Bernie.

You can move any time you want to be under their peace now.

Umma gumma... Bernie Sweetheart, Wellstone and that marxist ilk are dead and gone and I'm so not sorry for that. What we need to do is learn from the peanut brain, and dick head former Presidents, and make sure that we can never let that happen again. My son has this joke, that he rides on the short bus, as he is home schooled. That pretty much sums it up.

Paul:

If Bush had done things differently, things might be different now too. If Bush Sr. hadn't trained them specifically to fight an overwhelming power, they wouldn't have as much of a beef. Maybe if they got more rain, they'd be a little nicer. Maybe if the US hadn't violently overthrown the democratically eletected goverment of Iran and restore the despotic Shah, 911 wouldn't have happened. Maybe if TE Lawrence had not led the revolt against Ottoman and European power, they wouldn't have the power to act as such.

There's a long history and many factors that go into the modern state of Islamfascism and it's burning hate of the West. That, and most of them are a bunch of dicks.

Putting blame on Clinton is as partisian and short-sighted as putting blame on Bush for Katrina.

Posted by: majelix on September 30, 2005 07:37 AM

Burnie "The bus heart" What a lovely dream. But it will stay a dream since we come from animals (sorry for the "stuck on creation" god blinded illogical fellows).
So we will keep for long years basic instincts, it's impossible to erase hate, fear, jalousy or selfishness. For this you would have to kill all humans in your Bus.

Imagine you are rich and work hard to earn money, would you be happy to give your money to poor whites who don't want to fit the society in order to succeed ??

Well Black who succeeds just show that what you're saying about brothers is bullshit. If you want everybody to help everybody, why Dr Dree or Mr 50 Cent, with all their money, don't try educate poors or make compagnies to hire them.

I find that for guys who want to help their brothers in anyway possible they still do nothing though they earn enough money to make thousands of poor families live decently.
But they do nothing, no school funding, no compagnies making.
Or very few compared to what they could do.

Why those singer-democrates don't show the example ?

You see the color or the poverty don't change this human behaviour. All those who were black and poor and become rich act like white and rich people. The only difference is that they love police-bashing.

So if what you said is not wrong how do you explain these facts?

All humans have their limit : their own well being.

You're kind but not realistic a iota like all the leftists.
The day everybody will be Ms Teresa, is very very very far.

Posted by: Pierce on September 30, 2005 07:59 AM

The world is sadly simple : the rich want to keep their money, the poor want to get rich's money.

All revolutions are based on this. But once the poor become riched, strangely they want to keep their money !!! lol

Look Fidel Castro, he was a guy with great ideas, very kind thoughts like "we are all friends, let's help each others" .... He became a dictator,
how much did he stole, how many did he kill??
Stalin was the biggest mass murderer who has ever exited, and I'll remain you that his politic was "the people first, there mustn't be any poor".

Leftist are dangerous because they live outside reality. But once reality catch them, they become either poor again, either selfish rich guys.

Basic selfish instincts, yes it's sad, but we are all like this. Those who say the contrary are the ones who love to live in their dreams.

Posted by: Pierce on September 30, 2005 08:11 AM

Leftist are dangerous because they live outside reality

on this blog leftists in western civilization are :
- Democrats
- Canadians
- Non English Europeans (pleonasm ?)

That means 85% of western people ?
Are you sure of your reality ?

BTW, did you ever vote for someone ?

Prosper, I'm not English, and 40% of EU aren't leftist to begin.
And to answer your question when I say I hate all politicians in general, I mean it.
I like my friends, my family, I'm honest. How an honest guy could bear the way polticians are ??

Posted by: Pierce on September 30, 2005 09:17 AM

Pierce, i wrote on this blog leftists in western civilization are ...

a mature one...
in some other old countries (belgium), you must, not just can, vote.

I see your point, majelixalot, and my point is that we should have taken action in the 1990s when the frequency of attacks against us increased significantly. For eight years, starting with the 1992 WTC bombing, we retaliated by bombing aspirin factories and launching cruise missiles into empty terrorist camps. Sudan had Osama in custody but Billy boy wouldn't take him. I could go on and on and on about the 1990s, so, no I disagree with you and don't care if you think I'm short-sighted or not.

I am so unbelievably frustrated because I don't understand why the Clinton administration attacked Milosevic (who did absolutely nothing to us and whose people were getting slaughtered by Muslims) but did not confront terrorism. WTF was going on with that administration?

You said, "Maybe if the US hadn't violently overthrown the democratically eletected goverment of Iran and restore the despotic Shah..."

I need to brush up on my history a little bit, but I don't think it happened like that. Nice talking to you.

Posted by: Paul on September 30, 2005 10:36 AM

Pierce,
The USA, spends approx. $10000 per year on every student in the public school system, every student has the opportunity to get educated (if their parents/guardians allow them to) and the student chooses to "Act White". You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink!

Majelix,
You listed a lot of "Maybe Ifs": All of them deal with history -water under the bridge. Looking to the future, here's my suggestion on the "rain"/global-warming one, the USA will sign the Kyoto accord when there is a clause added requiring family-planning (let's be generous and make it a maximum of 3 children per family unit.) I know this won't happen because that would require "sacrifices" by the poor countries, and not just talk and point at the USA to fix "the problem."

By the way, the Israelis turned parts of the desert into viable farmland, don't you hate them for showing you that it can be done?

Posted by: Joe Moer on September 30, 2005 10:46 AM

Majelix - In order:
1. Jimmah Carter for bungling Iran.
2. Ronald Reagan for bugging out of Lebanon after the Marine barracks bombing. He should have sent a going away present of a few dozen cruise missiles up the Beka'a Valley.
3. Bill Clinton for bugging out of Mogadishu without an appropriate going away present. Also for doing nothing after the attacks on our embassies, the Khobar Towers, and the USS Cole. Blowjobs were more important. Bin Laden said that after watching us leave Somalia, he knew we could be defeated.
