It would seem it's not just miners who work the pits....
Posted by: BlogDog on October 9, 2005 03:33 PMSometimes, the company you work for is just a pit stop on your career track. :P
Posted by: Tessa on October 9, 2005 05:02 PMI pit-y those guys...
Posted by: Rob Cooper on October 9, 2005 05:06 PMThey're actually geneologists searching for the hair apparent....
Posted by: BlogDog on October 9, 2005 08:15 PMThe first sniffer in the picture is new to the company. He was formerly employed as a Boil Sucker. He said of his new position, "I am thrilled with this job. You wouldn't believe the strange looks people gave me when I would tell them that I am a Boil Sucker. Now, when I tell them that I'm a Pit Sniffer, they just smile."

Posted by: Jim Macklin on October 10, 2005 01:03 AMUnless you're Catfish, I think that the job of the person smelling the effectiveness of douches might not be so good, either.
Posted by: Woody on October 10, 2005 10:23 AMIf that job is in France, I sure as hell hope they get "Danger Pay"!
Posted by: CharlieDelta on October 10, 2005 01:02 PMDouches, that can be smelled from 10 yards away.
The Lord visited Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve was not to be seen and the Lord asked, "Where is Eve?" and Adam said she was swimming. The Lord said "Oh No, I'll never get the smell out of the fish."
While on the subject of smelling bad things, can I bring up the French?
Posted by: insider on October 10, 2005 09:33 PMinsider - Those statistics are emphasized, and the French are less likely to stink since they are not fat.
However, it's true that the generation just before doesn't wash enough. I'm often pissed off because of it.
After all the lies I've heard here about the French, this one is sadly quite true.
If you take the bus during summer, and there is an old French next to you, you'll die.
People about 60 years are quite often pigs.
There are as many dirty French as fat Americans.
But among people of my age, among my friends, I've never noticed anything. In fact our generation is very close to americans : junk food is more and more appreciated, big cars, action movies, playstation, more and more French are becoming fat in the young generation and they all wash themselves.
