That is fast. Here is a snap I took when I was in Germany on the autobahn north of Munich.

Doesn't look like a road I would want to go 167 on.

No speed limits on the open country... Will I live to see it? Prolly no. Guess I'll have to settle for 17 over, and hope for the best.

I took my family back to Germany over spring break 2000. We rented a mini van. About twenty minutes out of Frankfurt, I asked how they felt about doing 100mph legally. My kids flipped.
Later on the trip, we passed a line of trucks. My oldest daughter set the camera to time stamp the pics, one over my shoulder, showing 180kmph and an open left lane. The second out the rear window showing a long line of cars behind us. In the scrap book, those are captioned "Dads holding up traffic again."

A 330ci maybe (what I had) or 740i (what I have) but no stinkin 325 unless you had a 25 mile straightwawy to get up to speed. :-)

Give me an M3 any day... A few weeks ago a SEAL friend of mine took me for a ride in my soon-to-be-ex 1990 M3. He's had his share of driving schools and at one point we got up to 110mph on curvy NH country roads. I'll never forget it!

Jesse - I have no trouble getting my 1992 325 to go fast. Had it up to 130 once and it didn't require a 25 mile straighaway and it was as smooth a ride as going 80.

AnnaB - I'm thinking of replacing the 325 with an M3 either next year or the year after.

Now this is weird. I can see the picture on Mozilla Firefox, but not on IE...Oh well.
