These pictures were all taken Using an old Kodak digital camera that my brother-in-law just gave me. He just upgraded.
Looking from the foyer to the rear of the house. You can see where my cat Doofus left me some memories before he passed away.
From the kitchen looking into the great room. Oops! Forgot to take the cat towel off the chair. Gotta remove that before the company comes.
From the rear of the house looking toward the front door. My sister took the towel off the chair.
Looking down the hall from the other end of the kitchen.

Yep, nice floors. I have people in my house this month, fitting up the attic. I soon will have to do the floors to. May I ask what kind of floors are those ? Floating, stuck ? Massive, Stratified ?
Posted by: Prosper on November 24, 2005 11:03 AMthe camera took some great shots-floors look fantasic-what kind of wood was it maple or what?
Posted by: j on November 24, 2005 11:30 AMGreat job on the floors Denny.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Gosh, Denny, the floors are gorgeous! Just one more thing to be thankful for this year...
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Posted by: Denny on November 24, 2005 08:29 PMGood Lord, my friend, you have a BEAUTIFUL home!
And one day, we must talk books...
Posted by: Bou on November 24, 2005 08:51 PMThe hardwood floors are great. Worth the disruption, no doubt. What's in that music room? Did you buy a nice nylon string yet?
Posted by: marcel on November 24, 2005 10:17 PMMarcel - In the music room is a piano, a Yamaha 6 string, a Gibson 12 string, a banjo, a Fender lap steel, a Fender strat, three tape decks, a turntable, a CD jukebox, another desk, and two computers. Haven't got my nylon string guitar yet. I've been spending too much money on my house.
Posted by: Denny on November 25, 2005 08:52 AMBeautiful home. I like the ba-luuuue upholstery.
Posted by: Tessa on November 25, 2005 08:43 PMBlue is my favorite color.
Posted by: Denny on November 25, 2005 09:07 PMWhat a gorgeous place you have!
Posted by: lisakay on November 26, 2005 01:12 AMdenny, i'm thankful for grouchy old cripples who see things in a clear and non liberalized light. your home is beautiful, but i think we need to christen those floors with a few blown eyed blodgers. meet at your house? say the word.
Posted by: shoe on November 27, 2005 10:27 AMNow, that - that, my friend, is a floor. Gorgeous.
Posted by: Elisson on November 27, 2005 11:05 AMDenny, the house is FABULOUS. Nice. Very, Very Nice!!!
Posted by: Robin on November 27, 2005 09:02 PMshoe - Omigawd! Blown eyed blodgers in my house? I don't know if I can afford a new floor yet. We can have a party in the summer on the patio. I should have my outdoor speakers in by then. Eric was very brave in having us to his place. Likewise Christina for the upcoming event.
Posted by: Denny on November 27, 2005 11:34 PMYou seriously need some color on those walls along with more hanging stuff. I hired a decorator o pickout the paint because all my taste is in my mouth. She did a great job and I get lots of compliments.
Posted by: Ric on November 28, 2005 10:26 AMRic - I'm working on it. One step at a time. Next big expenditure is a surround sound system and a flatscreen LCD. Then I need a new floor in the kitchen, engineered stone countertops, a bathroom makeover, and that's just the inside.
