So I got this quiz from Bou. I was an engineering major in college, but burned out and dropped out in my junior year. This was my second attempt. I flunked out my first try and then joined the Navy.
I was a Customer Engineer with IBM which was a fancy way of saying repairman, typewriters the first four years and computers the next ten. I eventually became a software engineer so it all worked out in the end.
I cannot believe my psych preference was higher than my math. I freaking love math. I shoulda been a math major. And I would think my English would be higher than it was. Check me out on dance. Yeah. Like I'm a big dancer. One, two, cha cha cha. Oh, sorry, did I roll over your foot?
You scored as Engineering. You should be an Engineering major!

Are you sure we aren't related?! Man, my arts scores were way way down. Bargain basement level, for sure.
Posted by: Bou on January 24, 2006 07:34 AMMine was Chemistry. I was fascinated with it as a child, especially polymer chemistry. Turned out to be a legal secretary, having had children to feed and no child support.
Oh, well, I'm content with my lot at present. And that's all that matters to me.

I am an English major; therefore, I have to conclude that the scores on this quiz are congruent with my current educational goals.
I'm actually *shocked* that I got 50 for math. I have math-phobia; I'm leaving it until the very end of my two degrees, when I absolutely must take it...
Posted by: Lisa on January 24, 2006 07:25 PMMy top 3 were Engineering, Chemistry, and Math all at 75%. I was an Engineering major until I ran into math after Calculus so when I went back and finished I got my BS in Chemistry. Go figure.
Posted by: Ralph Gizzip on January 24, 2006 07:29 PMI rated as a psychology major. That;s good because that was my major.
Posted by: Phobos on January 24, 2006 07:30 PMBTW, I'm a graduate Electrical Engineer. (see my earlier post above). Guess I got into the correct profession ... maybe. :-)
Posted by: Vulgorilla on January 24, 2006 07:44 PMMy top three scores were Chemistry, Engineering and Linguistics (100% each). I am a practicing Microwave Engineer, read German and French fluently. I have a Technical Translator's Diploma in German, although the last year was very difficult as I started to think and dream in the language. I took a Berlitz course in Russian, but it wasn't effective for me, as for many engineers and scientists I wanted to know what I was saying, not memorize by rote. I have B.Sc.'s in Physics and Electrical Engineering, love mathematics (almost got a third degree in mathematics).
Posted by: Mike S. on January 24, 2006 10:05 PMI scored a 100% in psychology and also high in many of the other areas. I absolutely Love taking tests and have never scored as high as I did on this one. Makes me wonder. Thanks for the new test site anyway Denny.

How did I get 42% for dance, fer chrissake! (Results above)
I'm a part-time wheelie like GOC and haven't danced for 35 years.
Yeah, it ways I should be an English major. Too bad I won't be able to find a job. Unless, of course, you count wage slaving as a career.
Posted by: Marksman2000 on January 25, 2006 04:03 PMEnglish, Theater & Journalism; EXACTLY what my undergrad-degree confirmed. Math & Engineering for the two Master's degrees.
Guess which one's pay the bills? Guess which ones allow for more mirth!
