We are up "Shit Creek" unless we unload on our asshole congressmen and I mean Cock and Unload. These pussies are home now drumming up votes and lying again. They have no intentions of obeying our present laws and their sworn duty to protect us and our constitution. If we can get together and inundate these assholes with our mail and threaten them with our votes, they may have no other choice. Will some person with more savvy than me please come up with a list of those who are Americans and who are pretending? We can really make a difference.

I very much want all conservatives to write, phone, e-mail and fax Republican politicians all over the country, letting them know that you want them to take a hard line against illegal immigration. Please do this because it will ensure that the Republican party will take a backseat to the Democrats for decades to come. It was Republicans who sank the Senate immigration bill which would have given a path to legal citizenship for many illegal aliens. And Latinos know it. That will help Democrats a lot in 2006, and even more every election cycle as the Latino population grows and grows.

So be strong, push Republican politicians, don't let them go soft on illegal immigration. Do your part return Democrats to power. Thank you.

And that beats the hell out of pretending there is equality of opportunity and then blaming the people who are steam rolled by the system. Laissez-fair capitalism leads to great wealth for some, great poverty for others. That kind of economic system needs to be tweaked so that poverty doesn't run rampant.

While many illegal aliens do receive benefits and services from the government, illegal aliens do shit manual labor for miniscule wages. Few would do that work at all. No one who isn't an illegal alien would do it for so little money. And this massive group of illegal aliens working in a variety of industries keeps prices on all kinds of things (including a great deal of the food YOU eat) reasonably low.

Who done them? Well, Joe Bob, illegal immigrants have been around for a long time. Illegal Chinese immigrants were a key part of the workforce that built this country's rail system. Illegal Mexican immigrants have been around since the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo (1848). Illegal aliens have long been a key part of our workforce.

But their importance has grown as the population in this country has grown exponentially. We need more food every year and our produce is picked mostly by illegal aliens. If undocumented workers were no longer employed to do this, the price of that produce would skyrocket. I'm from Kansas where illegal aliens work on cutter crews that travel around harvesting wheat. In western Kansas (and everywhere else in this country), slaughterhouses are filled with illegals doing horrific work and getting paid very little. Ship them back to Mexico and the price of beef would triple overnight.

But I'm sure you'd say that you'd rather pay a lot more for all kinds of consumer goods than pay for illegals' benefits through your taxes. But you haven't given a thought to how much that would affect your wallet or those of other Americans. Much of this economy is built on the back of illegal immigrants. Deport them at your peril.

That is probably why almost no one in this country is in favor of genuine Socialism. One of your problem is that you think the existence of social programs = Socialism. Have you ever really studied Socialism? Socialism involves the following things:

- Public ownership of ALL of the means of production
- Governmental distrubition of ALL wealth
- The elimination of ALL private property

Do you think the Democratic Party is in favor of this? If you do, you are living in a right-wing conspiracy theory crazyland. Just as Republicans are not Fascists at heart, Democrats do not dream of Socialism.

Most Democrats (including me) would be willing to pay more in taxes for better education for all, healthcare for all and minimizing poverty. This does not require Socialism, which would of course destroy our economy. It is a matter of spending priorities. I prefer welfare spending to the poor over corporate welfare.

Believe it or not, I actually care about poor people (I've written many posts on how to get out of poverty by following three simple rules), but you do not eliminate poverty by giving poor people money. We've tried that. We've thrown $4 trillion at poverty and it's still there. You wanna solve poverty? Fix the schools. But once again, you don't fix education by throwing money at it. D.C spends $15 thousand per pupil and it is the worst school system in the country. For decent education you need accountability and we don't have that with teachers unions and our failing gummint schools. Golly. Control of the schools. Socialism 101. We also need parent participation and the desire to learn. That means there has to be a cultural change in the black community. Doing well in school is not "acting white". Where is your party on this? Nowhere because you guys want to keep blacks dumb and voting for Dimocrats. It makes me sick that no one in your party is speaking out on this. Let's just throw more money at failing gummint schools. Over 50% of blacks in D.C. want a voucher program but the NAACP and the teachers unions, prime constituents of your party are opposed.
