Easter Pun

In honor of Easter, here's a pun sent to me by Wild Bill and others.

A lady opened her refrigerator and saw a rabbit sitting on one of the shelves.

"What are you doing in there?" she asked.

The rabbit replied: "This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?",
to which the lady replied, "Yes."

"Well," the rabbit said,

"I'm westing."

Wascally wabbit!

Happy Easter to all. I remember hearing that line for the first time on Groucho Marx's You bet Your Life. Had to be in the mid fifties. One of his guests told it. The house went nuts with laughter.

Yeah, think the first time I heard it Harry Truman was still vice-president. Uncle said he heard it on that thing that used to sit in the living room that we all sat and looked at on Sunday evenings. No picture, just voices in things called Inner Sanctum, Lone Ranger, Fibber McGee and Molly, Jack Benny, and one of my faves, "Who knows what evil lurks in the minds of men? The Shadow knows."
