Where's the turret?

Yeah,..I am sure that you are liking it Denny. But as an RN who works 12 hours a day with people in wheel chairs, I do not. My patient's with electric wheel chairs have driven over my feet countless times. And they find it very funny. They don't mean it on purpose, but it still hurts. I just grin and bare it because my life is a hell of a lot easier then theirs. >>>>hoping that none of my patients get this contraption.

Hey Theresa,
Do you bare it, or do you bear it? I'm sure Denny would be happier if you bared it. And the rest of us too. Who knows? You might even qualify for one of Denny's Saturday specials.

Hell--I want one, and I'm not even crippled! ;-)

Note to Rurik: It's Teresa without an "H". Thank you very much. And what are you? 12 years old? You are way past your bedtime young man. Go to bed!

...and they say military research has no practical value...

It looks vaguely similar to the toys I watch everyday.

Nobody would fuck with you if you drove that! Not even Cynthia McKinny!

Teresa as someone who has been run over by a tracked vehical I can confirm it is acceptable to stop grinning and swear just a little bit.

Yeah, I'll take one of these. A sunshade, drink holder and gun mount is all I need added. Kids working in drive-up windows are always asking what my hand controls are. With this, everything is obvious.

It's an ATWC (all terrain wheel chair). Everything has to have an acronym doesn't it?

Big problem is doing a neutral steer for sharp turning. Those treads will really screw up your carpets and lawn. You could always drive it over to your U S Representatives house to discuss policy with her. Make sure you cut across the yard.

And just think waht it would do to my hardwood floors.

Teresa - It's a joke. I wouldn't have any place to ride that sucker.

Posted by: Denny on April 20, 2006 10:42 AM

I have a hilly yard, I'm thinking those treads would work great on my lawn bug mower! As for stairs, maybe the MOMA.

Looks like a set of Mattracks. Check out their website at mattracks.com. Some really neat stuff.

I want one so badly. I grew up in in rural Victoria, Australia, and now that I am living in Melbourne I don't get to go down there that much. I have a pretty good electric wheelchair at present but there is no way it will get me on to the beautiful sands of 90 mile Beach. And I can plough down the lefties at Uni, of course
