So in Thursday's Atlanta Urinal and Constipation, I came across this.
The race for Georgia's 4th Congressional District figures to be quieter this time around --- if only because there are fewer voices to be heard.
Although there is one voice that can be much louder than them all. Wonder whose voice that could be?
In 2004, Cynthia McKinney staged a stunning comeback, defeating five Democratic primary opponents without a runoff. McKinney then defeated Republican Catherine Davis in the general election to reclaim the mostly DeKalb County congressional seat she had held for 10 years before being upset by Denise Majette in 2002.
And the way she staged that stunning comeback was by running a low key door to door campaign and keeping her big fat mouth shut. It was probably the hardest thing she has ever done in her entire life.
Next month, in contrast, McKinney faces only two opponents in the Democratic primary. The GOP primary has only one candidate.
And once again, she may run another low key campaign and keep her mouth shut, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. If she does, she stands a very good chance of winning the primary. She does have a lot of incredibly stupid people in her district who love her. But maybe I'm wrong.
Under investigation for allegedly striking a Capitol Hill police officer, McKinney is taking a familiar and aggressive stance in her bid for re-election.
What's up with that? How long is the grand jury gonna sit on their collective thumbs? How hard can this be? Did she or did she not punch the cop?
"Silence is their greatest weapon," reads her campaign literature. "Cynthia McKinney will never be silent on issues that matter the most."
Yeah. Like her Tupac Shakur bill.
Just for the record, now that I'm no longer in her district, I want Cynthia McCommie (Moonbat, GA) to shoot off her mouth, the louder the better. I want her to be the face of the Dimocrat Party. I guess she must really be pissed that the Congressional Black Caucus (What if there were a Congressional White Caucus? Wouldn't that be racist?) made her apologize but is standing behind William Jefferson (Crook, LA.). Bribery must be more acceptable than punching out a cop.
McCommie has two opponents in the primary. John F. Coyne III is white so he doesn't stand a chance. Hank Johnson is black so he has a chance. He has to hope that before the primary the grand jury indicts McCommie for slugging the cop and that she says sumpin' stupid. Don't know about the former, but the latter is a very good possibility. Maybe she can get her father to go on one of the local news shows anbd rant about the "Jews! J-E-W-S!" like he did in 2002.
Anyway, I want her to win. Let the rest of the country see just how many stupid people there are in McCommie's district. We're not all rednecks here in Georgia.

In her district that is honorable behavior...
Posted by: vicki on June 12, 2006 07:29 PMPaul - McCommie a redneck? If we were all rednecks we would be much better off. Vicki would probably agree with that since she's a California transplant who moved to the mountains of North Georgia.
Posted by: Denny on June 12, 2006 08:51 PMCynthia is a member of the black caucus. So is Alcee Hastings, a former judge that was caught in a bribary scandal here in Fl. and was impeached by the U.S. Senate. He was elected to the House and now Nancy Pussyolosi is rumored to putting him on the House Select Committee on Intelligence. You know that our country will be so safe! The NY Times will have a new source for sure. I wonder if Jane Harman has been informed.

Black politician`s like Cynthia are not a Georgia phenomenon. Every State with a Dimocratic organization based in cities of 20,000 or above are infested with a host of Cynthia critter`s.
The dimocratic party could not long survive without the loyal government trough fed herd of contented welfare recipients. It would be amusing to see just whose wagon the Clintons & Kennedys would leap onto were that trough to come up empty.
Here in Pennsylvania Dimocratic Governor Ed Rendel of the 2000 Presidential Election fiasco took office in a landslide by sweeping to victory in about 7 county`s out of 67. They included all the major population urban center`s dominated by the welfare crowd.
Everywhere Rendel goes thousands of adoring voters yelling feed me, give me, take care of me & reparations now fill the air with their strident cries. Their steadfast loyalty is repaid with welfare benefits , whatever it takes.
The reality is that all across the state the Cynthia critters are slowly rising to positions of political power & will be soon calling the shots with both the Republican`s & Dimocrats oblivious. Not all of these people are crooked or bad, but there are a lot of Sharpton`s & Nagin`s in the mix.
Posted by: dudley1 on June 12, 2006 09:04 PMEasily cured. No one that feeds at the taxpayer's trough gets to vote. Employed by, representing, or just sucking on the tit, no vote.

Yes, I agree...Rednecks are a good thing!
Bad news everyone, as of last week, she plead out! What was the Fed. Atty. thinking?
Posted by: Lucky on June 12, 2006 10:00 PM"Rednecks?" In Cynthia's district? You must be color-blind.
The necks that vote for HER ain't red.

Anyone that feeds at the govt. trough should be ineligable to vote???
Using your logic, people in the U.S. Armed Forces (last time I heard, they still received govt. issued-checks) and whom preserve our freedoms, including our right to vote, would not be allowed to vote.
ATF, ICE, FBI, CIA, Secret Service, etc., would also not be eligible to vote.
Only Welfare recipients should not be allowed to vote.
Here's a novel idea- Think before you click to post...
