No perp walk for Rove.
Hey Howie! This is for you.
![]()
Many Dims are on suicide watch. How does Rove feel about it?

You're happy he is getting off? McKinney punches a cop and you're crying for blood, this guy compromised a CIA asset and that's cause for celebration?!?
Which cost the taxpayers more? Which did more damage to our security? Personally, I think they both deserve a cell. Make them roommates - that'd be amusing at least.
McKinny is a nut, but Rove is a traitor.
Pat
One question How much of this cia leak did you follow? or did you just read the left's view.
To me the whole Rove/Plame/Wilson scenario was high school antics trying to "get" someone in trouble - be it Rove, Plame, or Wilson. It was all petty. You want treason? Try Aldrich Ames or John Walker Lindh. This Beltway stuff happens all the time; we just don't know all of the stories.
As far as McKinney, I think the public embarrassment was punishment enough. Her race excuses showed people what she was willing to do to escape punishment. Unless the policeman decides to sue. Can he sue?
I'm a contractor for the Navy - believe me, Aldrich Ames makes people cringe. People died because of him, he should have been hung.
John Walker Lindh is more of a bafoon than a traitor. He's locked away and will (hopefully) serve as a deterant to others.
Rove walking away is just sad. Plame wasn't a critical asset, but do we need someone to die before a secret taken seriously? They'd yank my clearnance for much less... Rove should be in prison.
Hey, Pat, what about Scooter Libby? That Assclown walked out of the National Archves with sensitive information in his pocket, and got a slap on the wrist. Now, if us average joe's want to go and look up, say, my grndfather's Navy Personnel record, and ships log, we are treated like freakin' criminals!
Posted by: Lucky on June 13, 2006 03:22 PMI just hate to be an asshole, but Lucky, it was Sandy Berger that walked out with the papers to save Bill Clinton's ass for all things; His legacy! Please, if you fucking morons don't know what the truth is then don't try to hyperventilate and try to change the truth. Janet Reno was the most corrupt attorney general in the history of our great country. John Kerry was the phoniest person ever to run for public office. He was caught over and over telling lies about himself and his phony service in Viet-Nam. I've researched his service and I for one know that he was a glorified seaman. He should have been fucking "SHOT" along with Jane Fonda.Pat and Lucky obviously have never been in the military or in any aspect of serving their country so, for me; I just don't give a fuck what you believe.
Posted by: gene Hall on June 13, 2006 03:58 PMHumorous to see how it's OK to critisize McKinny, Clinton or any democrat, but try to hold Rove accountable and I'm branded a Lefty.
I sent "Gene" and e-mail from my navy.mil account explaining to him that he is correct, I know nothing about the military or serving my country... interested to see what he says to that.
How about this... nail any bastards (left or right) that feel the need to put their own interest ahead of the country's when they're in a position of trust. Put up a nice wall and staple Aldrich Ames, Sandy Berger, the Walker family (not John Walker Lindh - he's just an idiot - the Walker family are the ones who sold the Navy codes to the Russians) right on up there. But save some staples for Rove... Just because he's a conservative does not excuse outing a CIA operative for political gain.
Jane Fonda's name came up... I'd tack her right up there too. We can alternate, liberal / conservative / liberal / conservative... let them annoy each other while they hang there.
Politics be damned... ya betray the country, you get stapled to the wall. (sounds more conservative than "lefty"). :)
I'm with Gene on this issue.
As far as I'm concerned trying to indict Rove was another witch hunt aimed at Bush White House.
Rove testified on five occasions to a federal grand jury about his involvement in the disclosure of an intelligence officer's identity.
Obviously, the grand jury didn't feel there was evidence to indict him. Get over yourselves...
Furthermore, comparing Cynthia McKinney to Karl Rove is a crock....
Posted by: vicki on June 13, 2006 05:07 PMBTW, today, I'm back on the Bush band wagon.
It's been a good week for USA...the Muslim piece of shit was killed, Rove was exonerated, and Bush went to Iraq... and Howard Dean, John Kerry and the likes made total fools of themselves.
Posted by: vicki on June 13, 2006 05:21 PMDenny -
Those pictures are REALLY COLD, COLD, but hysterically funny.
Pat - He was exonerated. What part of exonerated do you not understand? Wilson outed his own fucking wife fer chrissakes. Everyone in DC knew she worked for the CIA. She was not on the NOC list at the time. This has all been bullshit. The only thing Fitz has is a perjury charge against Libby and he might not even make that stick. You wanna get outraged by shit? Get outraged at the bitch at the CIA leaking stuff to the New York Times and the NYT publishing it.
Posted by: Denny on June 13, 2006 06:31 PMAfter reading Pat's comments about Scooter at the National Archives, I thought I was reading the daily tripe in the letters to the editors section of the Los Angeles Times.
Posted by: Warren on June 13, 2006 07:41 PMGreat! I meant to refer to Lucky rather than Pat when comparing Lucky's "creative reporting".
Posted by: Warren on June 13, 2006 07:46 PMLibs get out your duct tape.
Take out a length of 12' (that little sign means feet)
Proceed to wrap it around your head.
This will help keep your head from exploding.
Posted by: gravdigr on June 13, 2006 08:11 PMHey gravdigr, where you be? Invest in Reynolds wrap. The leftist are coming for you boy!
Posted by: gene Hall on June 13, 2006 09:05 PMThat is a pretty funny picture. Karl Rove is smiling because he has been exonerated. George W. Bush is smiling because the architect of most of his successes is not going to prison. Claude Allen is smiling because he has a whole trunk full of merchandise to take back to Target.
Posted by: Dkelsmith on June 13, 2006 11:12 PMI'm just cracking up because "Nelson's" trademark "HA ha" was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news this a.m.
And, bonus--"Schmucky" is demanding an explanation from Fitzgerald. Heh. Keep up that kinda stuff, please. Keep burying your idea-less party.
I doubt Ms. Plame was undercover since she would have had to lug her twins along. So stop with the nonsense that Rove broke her cover.
Her name was given not to harm her or the CIA but to point out nepotism was involved in sending her husband to Africa.
As for equating McKinney and Rove:
Well, personally as an overweight grandmom who is tired of being manhandled by security types, I applauded her for doing what a lot of us would like to do: bash the SOB in the face.
But that' just me, a simple old Christian grandmother...
KARL ROVE WAS INNOCENT!!!!
Washington politics is often not in the best interests of the country, this is a classic example of one party "the dimocrats" attempting to bring discredit to the other "the republicans".
After wasting years on what was obviously a BS fishing expedition in the first place, it has come to nothing other then a waste of time, money & effort. But is this not what we have come to expect from our political system?
Our political system is a lot like Elephants having sex. Everything goes on at a high level , all kinds of dust is raised, tempers flare, trumpeting to the heavens goes on & on...... Results if any take years to materialize.Welcome to the real political world.
Gene Hall..... I agree with you as to your assessment of "Flipper" Kerry`s (who served in viet nam) spurious service record. I don`t want to upset Denny & get off topic but did you take notice that Kerry never showed up to report in let alone serve in the mandatory naval reserve after getting an early out from Nam?
Anyway poor Teresa probably threw her fishing pole in the water after hearing Karl was let off the hook........ Way to go Karl!
Posted by: dudley1 on June 14, 2006 07:10 AMNo matter what the outcome is of the final investigation, I am renewing my call on Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald to issue a report detailing his findings and explaining his charging decisions. In this type of case I think that's the prosecutor's obligation to the American people.
SCHUMER's comments!!! Unbelievable.
Posted by: vicki on June 14, 2006 10:00 AMVicki, W is just as much a treasonous liberal parading as a conservative today as he was yesterday. Why are you back on his bandwagon?
Rove is an oleaginous eminence grise whom I wish were out of the picture. Now, at W's bidding, he's trying to get the House to compromise on their excellent enforcement-only bill, HR 4437, to make it more like the nation-destroying S.2611, the bastard child of Ted Kennedy (Leftist, MA) and John McCain (Right-Liberal, AZ).
Posted by: Squidley on June 14, 2006 12:45 PMSquid...never fear, I'm keeping a ladder nearby so I can climb down without injury!
The second W focuses on immigration issues, I'll be ranting and raving with you.
Posted by: vicki on June 14, 2006 04:37 PMI want to be first to nominate Pat for AOTW. Okay, make that the first to second his own self-nomination.
Obviously for the last year or more Pat has been contemplating his navel - from the inside view.
Posted by: Rurik on June 14, 2006 07:13 PMI think Pat is one of the Dixie Twits.
