How Computers Work

CharlieB sent me this neat working model of the inside of a computer. Someone put a lot of work into this.

I think I could spend hours looking at all those damn little blue balls trying to figure out where they all started and where they're going...

Frickin' MUNU is down. I can't blog. I was going to post on how GREEN I was over this weekend w/you and the crew. Bah!

Oh yes..... Finally someone explained it as it really is. A LONG time ago (early 80's)I was a young staff sergeant in the basic electronics engineering class for my computer maintenance training at Kessler AFB Mississippi, and our engineering teacher was trying to dispel the notion of electrons in motion were not little b-b's rolling down a board or as he said "juvenile notion as such". Well he was wrong after all.

Here's the proof. Hehehehe

Denny, this is hilarious, Can I have it as a screen saver. I work for these real pains in the ass customers. When they don't understand how something works i.e like their mouse . I'll send them a picture. I'll tell them that a little blue bit in the lower right corner didn't dissolve correctly into the beaker and that's why they can't access their deleted document. DUH
BWAHAHAHAAHA.

It looks a lot like a toilet designed by the EPA for NASA to installed in the Congress.

Oopsie, that link seems to be gone. It was this Rube Goldberg thingy with music etc.

Yep, looks like a fairly typical Microsoft OS to me.
