My Dinner With Eric

Eric and his wife, the lovely Fiona (Who is from Scotland and has the most delightful accent) came to town over the weekend and he, Fiona, Elisson, Zonker, and I met up at the Westin Hotel in Buckhead for drinks. Then we went to dinner at an Indian restaurant. The food was excellent. I didn't get anything too spicy. Eric and Fiona like to eat at this particular restaurant when they come to town. The hotel shuttle driver knows them.

Spreaking of the shuttle driver, he and I talked about restaurants. We both agreed that Antica Posta is a fantastic Tuscan restaurant. He knows the owner.

After dinner, while waiting for the shuttle driver outside the restaurant, I displayed my fine falling down technique. I was trying to go backwards to lean against a wall, and wound up sitting against the wall.

Eric told me that someone was gonna show up to surprise me and that I was a lucky bastard. OK. That means it was probably gonna be a beautiful woman. So, I thought, how many beautiful women are there who live in the Atlanta area that both Eric and I know? I could only think of one, Bou's sister, Morrigan. Could it be? Could I be that lucky that she would show up at the hotel after we returned from dinner?

Yesssss! She was there with her current boyfriend, who seems to be a real nice chap. Mo is quite curvey, but believe it or not, I looked her in the eyes as we talked because she also has incredibly beautiful eyes. It must run in the family since Bou does also.

We sat outside on the patio and had a few more drinks and Eric shared some excellent single malt Scotch with us. It started to rain and we went inside, finished our drinks, and everyone went home.

All in all it was a really nice evening, and yes, I am a lucky bastard. Eric told me Bou was responsible for Morrigan being there. Thanks Bou! I really love these two women.

I, too, am a Fortunate Guy, having met both Bou and Morrigan within a single two month timespan.

Last night was a pleasure. Screaming hordes of chipmunks could not have kept me away.

Oh, and the beauteous Fiona's no slouch, either. Although how she puts up with Eric is beyond me...

We think the world of you, Denny! We can't wait to see you again!

And did you know that TODAY is the beautiful Princess Fiona's birthday? Oh yes. The big 4-0!

Bou - I knew it was her birthday, but I thought she was only 25.

Christina - I am indeed a lucky guy.

Oh my gosh, I had a great time and so did my sidekick. It was fun to surprise you even know you knew it was me.
BTW- Bou filled me in one the rest of the stories...
