But, could you imagine the gigantic glut of money the U.S. would have not providing ANY type of aid... to ANY country?
DAM! We could fix almost all of our oun problems in a friggin' year!
If the U.S. would pull out of the UN, we could kick these dips the hell out, send 'em all packin back to where ever the heck they came from, and tear down the buildings for something better and useful for us. We have been paying for the damd things thru our taxes anyway! Those other people in there sure don't!
The UN is worthless except for giving out shots, food, sending "peace keepers" / "observers" to count the bullets and bombs flying over their heads, and killing trees and waisting paper on resolutions they will not back up. Seems only the U.S. is willing to do that "dirty work" too!
The lasest I saw is that, little jerk Annan first states as FACT, the Israelies shelled, on purpose and by design, a "peace keeping" group inside Lebanon THEN... he flip-flops, accepting Israel's action as a mistake!

***To get away and yet still stay on this subject, I downloaded a photo of an His-bowl-lala flag flying near a UN flag today. Don't know for sure if it was made up or not but, if it wasn't and that group of UN observers threw in with them, perhaps that's the reason they got hit and Annan knows the whole story now. Could be the reason for his sudden and big change in the anger packed "facts" he was spewing out whenever he could. Could "the game be a'foot"?

Perhaps other countries have learned much too well from us in that, "money talks and bull shit walks."? Why not perpetuate the tentions and minor battles going on in that area of the world, inorder not to loose their customer base? I wouldn't bother reading a rag like the Times or any other one for that matter. I have 20 years worth of reasons to never read a paper. Never once did I see them get a story right when I had personal working knowledge or first hand information on one. The're great for gettin' the wood stove goin' tho. :)
Most of my news I get from multipule cable news broadcasts and shortwave radio broadcasts. I'm lucky enough to have a very local AM station that has hourly news breaks also.
So, the scummers used them as shields. Wow. Proves once again what type of wackos they are. All the normal western and euro standards go right out the window with these terrorist animals.
I heard today the UN ordered all UN observers out of Lebanon so, at least one source of human shields will be gone. Too bad they can get all the everyday normal people out.
It's also too bad so many people are ignorant of the truth as to what is really going on over there. All they seem to see or know about is the high numbers of dead in Lebanon compaired to those low numbers in Israel, therefore making Israel the "bad guy" automatically plus, many don't realize that the terrorist group there is not part of the government in Lebanon. That it is a seperate thing all together having been FORCED on the government.
Some think it's their army.
I met with two gents that had these mistaken views last night! IT'S AMAZING!
