Now that hurricane season is upon us, FEMA is printing out these tickets for the victims of hurricanes.
Read the fine print. These tickets are only good for parasites. Productive members of society are ineligible.
My thanks to Melissa for sending me this.

Posted by: caltechgirl on July 31, 2006 01:21 PMCouldn't ask for a better subject. I just put my old dog "Fritz" down today. A world traveler he was. I took him wherever I went and for the last 15 years we enjoyed it. I'll miss him.
Posted by: gene Hall on July 31, 2006 05:21 PMHave you seen Governor Romney getting tarred for his comments on the "big dig"? "Tar baby" is now off limits for general usage owing to ancient origins in Uncle Remus cartoons. News to me.
Posted by: Warren on July 31, 2006 07:26 PMNow THAT is funny! And pathetically true.
Posted by: The Bastard on July 31, 2006 07:43 PMI asked my wife for a Hummer just the other night. She told me I would get one when Hell freezes over. Got Damn "Global Warming"!
Condolences on Fritz, Gene. That's a hard thing to do. Just take solace in the fact that he's resting easy and licking his balls in peace.
Posted by: Ralph Gizzip on July 31, 2006 08:24 PMThanks Ralph and again thanks to Melissa for your thoughts about Fritz. I love ya all.
Posted by: gene Hall on July 31, 2006 08:40 PM15 good years for Fritz? That's more than some people have in their entire lives. I'm sure he was special--and I'm sure you let him know it. My condolences as well.
