So now she's not gonna sue.
In a July 31 letter to the editor and publisher of the newspaper, McKinney's lawyer, J.M. Raffauf, demanded a retraction based on Georgia libel law. The letter did not explicitly threaten a lawsuit, but demanded a retraction.
I'm glad to see she's taking my advice. Maybe she can overcome the 15 point lead Hank "the stump" Johnson has over her. She has decided to run 1175 paid TV ads between now and the election.
With just five days to go before the runoff election, U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney today begins bombarding potential voters with campaign ads on CNN, BET, Lifetime, Oxygen and other cable networks.
Since I don't watch any of those channels, I guess I'll mis them.
Now just keep your mouth shut and your daddy out of sight and you still may pull this off. I'm rooting for you.
You go girl!

Posted by: vicki on August 3, 2006 03:42 PMMcCommie placed ads on BET? I'm shocked, I tell ya!!! I thought the leeches who vote for her were so poor that they need the minimum wage raised just so they can feed their ump-teen young-un's by ump-teen different breeders- Some dead, others in prison, others unknown, etc., so they couldn't afford cable or satellite TV...Oh wait, to earn minimum wage and actually care or know how much it is or want it raised you have to actually have a job...My mistake.
