I suspect that you suffer the affliction of Idol Worship. What part did you miss? We are the “paying” audience. Paying is the really important word here, Duane. I don’t care to hear some uneducated asshole’s political or environmental opinion on the world. Babs is a slightly talented, conceited cow and always was. Didn’t she retire and if so why didn’t she stay retired? Millions of people dying to see her? I think you way over estimate her fame. She is a vastly over rated and a very over weight "has been if ever was". Her climb to fame is only the result of many foolish people who need a life.

I’m really amazed at how we as people in general accept every utterance out of these Hollywood idiots mouths as if its Gospel truth. "Oh so-in- so said it, it must be true" symptoms of idol worship. Maybe we should consider where would these "all knowing" people would be if it wasn’t for us “little” people buying tickets to their concerts and movies. I really love it when I here some talking celebrity head pontificate on the environment and other social issues and then hop into their limousine or Lear jet to fly home to their 15, 000 square foot mansion on the coast of California. Not once considering the negative environmental impact or the amount of pollution that they contribute to the environment while enjoying the prestige our dollars has afforded them vie ticket sales. Then they have stones to tell us how to live and point their crocked little fingers at us.

On a personal note, that is why I like independent films. I like to see the “no name” actors who get little pay and are making the films for the art rather than the money. If they are any good at the craft, they will do well.

Let’s face it. Most Hollywood blockbuster suck ass and a lot of studios loose their shirts on the deal. Look for the talent, not the famous face and these fucker will get the message. It’s a damn disgrace when some actor asshole can demand 30 million dollars for about 4 mouths of work and then do a shitty ill performed job at it.
