Stumpy Weighs In

Dontcha know that the Dims had to drag Stumpy out. (Thanks to Oze for letting me know about this)

Even though many Dims have called for Flipper to apologize, which he just did, ol' Stumpy is right there in his corner.

Former Sen. Max Cleland (D-Ga.) on Tuesday voiced his support for Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), who became embroiled in controversy after comments he made Monday appeared to imply that American troops in Iraq are uneducated.

Imply? He came right out and said it. Jesus Stumpy, I hate to say this (no I don't), but you've become dumb as a stump!

"John Kerry is a patriot who has fought tooth and nail for veterans ever since he came home from Vietnam," Cleland, who lost three limbs in Vietnam, said in a statement. "He has stood with his brothers in arms unlike this [Bush] Administration which exploits our troops to make a political point and divide America."

Not true!

Cleland said anyone who thought Kerry's comment was insulting the troops has "a partisan political agenda and that's the bottom line."

Exactly what part of "Education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." do you not understand, Stumpy?

"John Kerry should apologize to no one for his criticism of the President and his broken policy in Iraq," he added. "George Bush is the one who owes our troops an apology."

But it was not criticism of the president, Stumpy. He was calling our soldiers dumb!

Echoing Kerry's reaction Tuesday, Cleland said criticism of the "botched joke" is "textbook Republican campaign tactics."

Those nasty Republicans! How dare they quote someone verbatim! How dare they publicize someone's voting record like they did to you. Yep! Only to a Dimocrat would telling the truth be nasty campaign tactics.

Go crawl back under your rock, Stumpy.

Dumb as a stump............... funny.

What's not so funny is this never ending retread of an arguement about the Republican spin machine when ther isn't one.

Truth is, the democrats are so used to getting a pass from the LSM that they haven't come into modern times yet.

He got caught red handed just like the reason gummints are throwing those cameras up all over town. He got caught on tape and his usual spin looked really lame.

Why don't the Dems admit it. Kerry is a stuffed shirt, stupid, out of touch (nerd) big white wealthy cracker.

My thoughts about the present system:

The whole issue of the “Kerry Affair” disappoints in that the Republicans never exhibit the “over the top” rhetoric so prevalent in the Democratic Party. Instead we always hear conciliation and acceptance by the Republicans.

The Democrats and the lap-dog media (or maybe the other way around) have the conservatives and Republicans trained oh, ever so well. They come out and call the slightest oppositional comment as wing-nut right, right wing media attack machine, etc. just to keep the Republicans in their place.

Where are the calls for Kerry’s resignation? SOMEONE needs to take it over the top and strat screaming for his resignation (it's propaganda and the Dems get it).

Parrot Mark Steyn and Victor Davis Hanson’s talking points and make it real. Hit home.

Tony Snow handles the press extremely well, but still falls into the “controlled pattern” of talking around the true issue.

The Republicans need a few REAL right wing-nuts and moonbats of their own instead of the same old standard timid approach.

During the last election cycle my Rep. Dave Weldon was visiting my VFW Post for support. I was doing a barbecue for our yearly district meeting. The congress-critter had the normal entourage with him and they came over to me and with a genuine fake smile and asked me what I was grilling. I explained that I was doing "John Kerry Chicken". Weldon's flunky asked me what the hell is John Kerry chicken? I told him that all I had was "LEFT WINGS AND ASSHOLES". Needless to say, they got a kick out of it!

What the Republican party needs is another Lee Atwater, and I nominate Mrs. Lynne Cheney for the job. The way she beat up Wolf Blitzed the other day was devastating and hilarious!

Amen Bill! I have always loved Lyn Cheney. She has never taken any shit from anyone! Plus she is still a fox!

Bill S.,

Karl Rove IS to GWB and the GOP now as Atwater was in the 80's to early 90's to Presidents Reagan and Bush 41, and the GOP, until his untimely and sad death in 1991 at the age of 40.

The only reason I think we'll hold both houses of congress after next week is because of Rove.

If Rove says we will, I believe him. He's been right everytime.

I truly believe all the libs who claim that "Rovian" plots are why we keep winning! :)

BTW, while the lamestream media keeps shouting how the dummycraps will win easily next week, hoping to keep GOP voters home, I'm guessing it will have the opposite effect.

We know the average dummycrap voter is a lazy uninformed ignoramus, and the lamestream media's "confidence" and cheerleading will energize the base GOP voters.

My guess is if the average dummycrap voter even bothers to watch ANY news, they watch ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and maybe even CNN and MSNBC if their welfare check allows them to pay for cable TV, until the cable company shuts it off for non-payment.

So they'll see how everything is good and sit on their lazy asses expecting all the other dummycraps to vote.

Then they'll wake up wednesday morning, 09NOV06, and hear the news, then commit suicide.

Okay, we can't get that lucky...

Oh, and do not forget- Karl Rove learned from Lee Atwater...Atwater was Rove's mentor.

Lynne Cheney? She's morally bankrupt--or at least she was when she wrote this trashy softcore porn novel.

Posted by: Squidley on November 2, 2006 02:20 AM

The only trashy softcore porn novel I`m aware of is the leftwing liberal dimocratic agenda. Give Lynne a break, she tore Wolf Blitzer a new asshole, something all Republican`s should be doing to these leftwing liberal jackasses instead of meekly trying to get along. If more people of political stature in the Republican party were to emulate her, the base would become energized & the dimocrats would run for cover as they really have a lot to explain for.

To understand the dimmocrats policy on war just look at Somalia, after slick willies cut & run. Where is the outrage and comparison between Somalia and Iraq? Is it because it doesn’t appeal to the tin hat bunches the same as Vietnam or Cambodia. Why the hell does the MSM keep referring to kerry as a “decorated veteran”? He has not released his military records and I doubt he is a “decorated veteran”.

It always amuses me to see Cleland referenced as having lost limbs in Vietnam, as though he lost them fighting. He told me himself that he was wounded while on the way to drink beer with some friends. He was getting off a helicopter when he saw a grenade on the ground - possibly his own. He bent to pick it up and it went off. The fact that folks from outside Georgia know who he is is one more thing we can blame on Jimmy Carter.

Cleland sucks a big one.

Did you see or hear the speech that the VP gave last night? He said of the "Joke". "Sen. Kerry was for the joke before he was agianst it!" Priceless.

Dan Quayle mispells potato and the Dhimmicraps never let him forget it. Trotsqerry and KKKennedy conspire with the enemy, kill a woman, insult the military serving in a theatre of war and they skate. TAANJ.
Comes the revolution ....

Rob Cooper, you're absolutely right about Karl Rove, he's a great strategist. However, we don't have many prominent Republicans who can (or at least WILL) go on offense as well as Mrs. Cheney did, and I'd like to see more of that!
