Posted by: Fuckhead Jenkins on November 3, 2006 01:56 PMInteresting so many twits on the web who can't even say the name of the party correctly (it is DEMOCRATIC PARTY) consider themselves great political pundits.
Perhaps you can explain how the totally busted budget is the Democratic Party's fault? Oh, fault of the war? Nope, war is responsible for less than 400 bill of the two trillion overrun, try again.
How about IRRESPONSIBLE TAX CUTS? Ever think of that?
Have fun paying that $5.00 at the pump come Christmas, if you get your wish and Republicans (see, I can spell the name of the idiot elephant party, pity you can't say DEMOCRATIC, isn't it?) win this election.
Can you spell LACK OF CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT? Maybe you should learn how.
Posted by: Paul Davis on November 4, 2006 10:51 AMPaul - I call it Dimocrat because most of the people who vote for that party are dimwits. You are a case in point. The tax cuts actually brought in more revenue, which they usually do since they spur economic growth. Did you notice that the deficit was cut in half? The deficit as a percent of GDP is the lowest it has been in 20 years. That, in spite of the Iraq and Afghan War, Katrina, and 9/11. The Dow just hit a record high and unemployment is down to 4.4 percent. But you probably want tax increases because the eeeee-vil rich "don't pay their fair share", even though the top 1 percent of earners who earn 17% of the income pay over 34% in taxes. Since the tax cuts, their tax burden has actually gone up!
You should be happy. A Republican Congress and a Republican president increased the size of gummint more than Dimocrats and they did it funding Dimocrat like social programs. No Child Left Behind is one example. If you have your way, maybe Bush will wield the veto pen.
BTW, gas will not hit $5.00 by Christmas. Learn sumpin' about the Law of Supply and Demand.

I was going to respond to PD, but your last post pretty much covered everything I was going to say. Thank you for temporarily delaying my downward spiral into carpal tunnel syndrome.
And John Kerry is an asshole.
