Denny,
Thank you for putting this on the site. Beautiful. Veteran's Day is not supposed to be a happy occasion. It's a day of rememberance. Raise a glass to the ones overseas, home, and most of all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. For they are the true heroes.

Thank you so much Denny for putting this up. We must never forget who gave us our freedom.

Thank you. My brother fought in Iraq. I know he'd thank you too.

Thanks.
I must have missed this one on MTV & VH1.

Gilmore wrote "I must have missed this one on MTV & VH1."
Naaaa you didn't miss it because it was never there, but I get the sarcasm. It's a pity that its not but among the liberals, patriotism is bad. Being grateful to veterans for our freedom is not cool. Its a me fit society, unselfish service to our country is concept beyond their grasp.

I appreciate the posting, and God Bless America and all veterans worldwide that served and died for FREEDOM.

Cheers

Loved it! Brought a tear to my eye.

Never forget. Even though the democrats want you to.

That was great! I googled the singer, Terry Kelly, www.terry-kelly.com, and he's a canadian, and he's blind!
Thanks to all the vets out there, including me...LOL.

Thank you for posting this...it's too easy for people to forget...but, paradoxically, that means our veterans did a damn fine job!

Thank you, Denny, for posting that.

vetfromhell, you can go to hell for slamming all democrats in this context. Many of us democrats have have searved and yes, I had tears in my eyes as I watched this tribute to all of us. I can not verbalize the anger I feel towards you for politizing even this.

A slight correction on Rob's post above.... The Terry Kelly who sings "A Pittance of Time" is not the same guy as the singer on terrykellysongs.com. The correct website for the Terry Kelly from this video is http://www.terry-kelly.com.

Thanks for the info and the link on the man singing. I got this from someone via email also and no one in the email group knew who was singing it. It's lovely.

Never forget. Even though the democrats want you to. And are ashamed to admit it.

To democratic_vet, keep yor outrage in mind when YOUR cowardly party starts impeachment proceedings against the President for keeping America safe the last five years. Hypocrite. Cheer on your cut and run brethren, immerse yourself in their traitorous and cowardly behavior. And use spellcheck.

This is one of the more memorable of tributes I have seen or heard for vets, living, past, or who gave the ultimate sacrifice. It is especially touching when such a piece comes from a man who has been blind since 2 years old and was never able to serve. That truly is tribute. Many here have expressed the sentiment of honor and tribute that is due all vets, whether agreeing with the politics or not. For the vet is not the politician. He or she is the warrior or medic that goes into harm's way to protect the fundamental rights to a humane life free from fear and tyranny. Because of these brave souls we have the freedoms we enjoy today...including political parties and the right to freedom of speech. To vetfromhell and democratic_vet...you act just like the father in the video. It saddens me to see two fellow vets so busy crying out from your own soapboxes, instead of remembering the purpose of the video, and to simply enjoy and appreciate the tribute being offered. Just demanding to be paid attention to from your own selfish little worlds.

I won't go into the politics. Soldiers fight and die so that we can have the opportunity to have freedom of speech and assembly.
