Reagan was quick with the comebacks. That was a good one!

Whenever I need to smile, I come to this site.
Heaven is a better place with Ronald Reagan.
Where is our next Reagan?
(and I am a B-52 Stratofortress)

You have got to love Reagan's wit. I do miss him, and sad I was too young to really enjoy him.

I always loved Reagan. I have a calendar from his library. I think the best answer ever to a journalist was when he was asked how best to react to the Soviet Union. Easy, he said. We win! They lose! And we did and they did.

That's beautiful. I wish I could have met him.

Come back Ronnie, we need you more than god does.

After 4 years of Carter screwing up the country, that great man helped turn things around and usher in a new age for the American Dream. He's one of our greatest heroes.

Reagan made average people feel good about themselves and good about being American.
He was successful because he was a true conservative and wasn't trying to be anything but.
These successive moderate conservatives are screwing up the republican party. Reagan was unfortunately a rare find. I too wish we had another in the wings somewhere ready to take control of things again.

Dave,

Most of the "moderate conservatives" you lament are, in fact, RINO liberals.

... I'd still give an arm to have tea with Maggie Thatcher, though!
