BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I wish we had another Reagan waiting in the wings.
Got this one from Rob.
Posted by denny at December 4, 2006 03:23 PMReagan was quick with the comebacks. That was a good one!
Posted by: Peggy U on December 4, 2006 06:51 PMThat was Sweet!

Heaven is a better place with Ronald Reagan.
Where is our next Reagan?
(and I am a B-52 Stratofortress)
You have got to love Reagan's wit. I do miss him, and sad I was too young to really enjoy him.
Posted by: Michael on December 4, 2006 08:38 PMI always loved Reagan. I have a calendar from his library. I think the best answer ever to a journalist was when he was asked how best to react to the Soviet Union. Easy, he said. We win! They lose! And we did and they did.
Posted by: gene Hall on December 4, 2006 08:49 PMThat's beautiful. I wish I could have met him.
Posted by: Fuckhead Jenkins on December 4, 2006 10:09 PMCome back Ronnie, we need you more than god does.

Posted by: Murray on December 5, 2006 12:00 AMAfter 4 years of Carter screwing up the country, that great man helped turn things around and usher in a new age for the American Dream. He's one of our greatest heroes.
Posted by: Reiggin on December 5, 2006 02:07 AMReagan made average people feel good about themselves and good about being American.
He was successful because he was a true conservative and wasn't trying to be anything but.
These successive moderate conservatives are screwing up the republican party. Reagan was unfortunately a rare find. I too wish we had another in the wings somewhere ready to take control of things again.
Dave,
Most of the "moderate conservatives" you lament are, in fact, RINO liberals.
Posted by: Squidley on December 5, 2006 09:52 AMI miss him alot.
Posted by: vetfromhell on December 5, 2006 03:53 PM... I'd still give an arm to have tea with Maggie Thatcher, though!
