The finalists for the 2006 Weblog Awards have been posted and there are two Blown-eyed Blodgers who made it:
Christina is a finalist in the category of Best Diarist.
Jimbo made it in the category of the Best of the Top 1751-2000 Blogs.
Nope. I'm not a finalist in any category, but I'm in good company since neither du Toit nor Misha made it. I guess they need a category for Crazy Bastards With Guns.

a) You are honest in 'your voice';
b) Are tolerant of your Listener's
c) You DESERVE something more than a mere Pat-On-The-Back for all that you provide for your Reader's.
Now, if we could just do away with Bach, Saturday Music, Boobage, Monday Pun's .....

Denny, I know I haven't been hanging out here for very long, but I have to say that I have had more fun in the last month on your website than I have in the last year of surfing the net. Sorry. Didn't mean to gush. But I do think that this blog is more than worthy of recognition, and now that I know about these weblog awards, I'll be voting for you next year. I hope the rest of your commenters (with the possible exception of the trolls) will do the same.
Especially if you're a finalist in the Crazy Bastards with Guns category.
