Ok hands up everyone else who went to comment and was at a loss for words because it's both funny and not on so many levels.

Sir,

I suggest before you write or draw about Iranians, do the followings before:
1. Review your basic geography knowledge.
2. Read some history books.
3. Read about Iranian and Arbic cultures.

Then you may find your errors.

I agree with some of your comments about fundamentalism and terorrism. But seems you are mixing everything together.

I as an Iranian respect Americans and their cultures and if I start bashing Americans in your way, it would be just a pissing match.

Pouya

1. I know where Iran is. WTF does that have to do with this post? There is no map.
2. I have read history books. I know that the present country of Iran was at one time Persia. But really, all the history I need to know about Iran started in 1979 when that country, in violation of International Law, kidnapped American diplomats and held them hostage for 444 days. And speaking of history, maybe President Aramalamadingdong should read some. He's the idiot who's denying the Holocaust took place. How about you? Do you deny the Holocaust? Do you hate the Joooooos?
3. I also know about Iranian and Arabic cultures, probably more than you do. They are currently backward cultures whose glory days have passed never to return. I also know that Iran is currently ruled by a bunch of theocrats intent on taking the world back to the 7th Century using 21st Century weapons. I also know that it was western technology that drilled the oil wells and built the oil infrastructure since your cultures were too backward to do it. Arabs and Iranians have not contributed anything to the world in over 400 years other than death and destruction.

Go fuck yourself!

Denny,

Chain of events that caused Iran to have its current government (after Pahlavi family's rule) has a long story. But its main reason was that for the first time in the last centuries, Iran was going to be really Independent and take 100% control of its oil industry.

Of course nobody in let say glorious countries liked that and they didn't want to lose all those sweet oils in Iran. Then they start doing wahtever they could to change the game.

Nobody with open eyes and healthy mind can deny that Iran's revolution in 1979 wasn't independent from help of some "other" countries.

That revolution was a mess. Specially for Iran. I'm upset same as you for attacking US embassy and kidnapping American diplomats. But who really made it? Ask yourself. Iran people or countries which paid to run that revolution?

Of course I blame Iranians who were in the revolution in 1979, that they did something that they didn't have enough information about it. They didn't ask themselves "Who is really behind it and what is the result".

I'm glad that you know about oil industry. Also for your information, we have the sience to run our oil industry. Not perfeclty but thats enough to start. The important thing is that we have the potential (educated and experienced specialists) to to move fast. But it needs 2 things.
First, we need a better government that bother for this.
Second, countries who has advantage of Iran's natural resources, leave us alone.

The other thing that brough in was interest of Iran's government for "21st century weapons". Did you ask yourself "Who used the first nuclear weapon"?

I think you are from US. I agree that US has a great rule in last centuries achievenets. But do you think that you didn't have any mistake?
What is your opinion about war in Vietnam?
Nuclear boomb in Hiroushima and Nakazaki?
War in Iraq?
Is it really for Iraq's mass destructive weapons or saving Iraqi people?

Don't take me wrong for Iraq's war. I know that US army did alot for Iraqi people and many soldiers got killed to save Iraqi's. This is really sad. God bless them and only God can help their families to forget all the pains of losing a beloved son, brother or husband. I know what war can do with people involved.

Well...
I wrote too much.
I really wish people and governments respect eachother.

Let's change the subjest.
I wish you a very happy New Year.

Regards,
Pouya.

Of course we used nuclear weapons. What's your point? it ended a bloody war and saved many lives since we didn't have to invade Japan and face more bloody battles. Did we want to? No. Truman thought long and hard about it. Why didn't we just demo one? Because it took two bombs on Japan to get them to unconditionally surrender. After that, we vowed never to use them preemptively again. MAD worked during the Cold War because the Soviets didn't want to die anymore than we did. Everything has changed now. Islamic nutjobs worship death. If Islamic nutjobs get a nuke they will use it. Aramalamadingdong has already vowed to wipe Israel off the map. Since Islamic nutjobs want to be martyrs, one of those buttheads could smuggle a suitcase nuke in and blow himself up in New York or any other of our big cities.

War in Viet Nam. I was for it. I was there. I saw what happened to the people after we cut and run. Remember the Killing Fields? BTW, we won all the battles. Tet was a horrible defeat for the Norks. We lost the war at home. If there are any parallels between Iraq and Viet Nam it is that the left and the LSM wants us to lose in Iraq just like they wanted us to lose in Viet Nam.

Iraq - We went in for the WMD's. Where did they go? In 1998, many of the Dimocrats shouting Bush lied believed Saddam had WMD's. They also believed it when Bush asked for authorization to invade and they gave it to him. We toppled Saddam in three weeks. Unfortunately, no one seems to have planned for what we were to do after that. I think the original plan was a stable Iraq and a stable Afghanistan and having stable democracies on either side of Iran and bases in which to invade, if necessary.

Denny,

There are many things that are wrong with government of my country and Iran is not a democratic country that you can talk about your believes easily. If you do this it may even cost your life. I'm brave enough to accept wrong things about my country.

But the thing that bothers me is that mind of people outside Iran is poisoned about Iranians. I have seen poeple from worst countries in the world that were worry to come to Iran just because of wrong information.
I asked them have you ever been to Iran and they said no. When I asked them then why you think that you will be in more danger or trouble if you go to Iran. They just knew Iran or Iranian people with things that saw in TV or just heard.

Not all Iranians agree with the policy our government about Israil, Nuclear Power, religion related issues and etc.

This is not right if you think that Iranians since they are Muslim, they will eat you alive just because you are not Muslim.
Tell me something. What was nationality of people who were involved in 11/Sep?

If you tell that our government supported them, you might be right. But how many of Iranians you think are agree with such policy? Do you think people who are not agree can stop them?

Its not fair to judge people before you know them.

Here's a news flash for you Pouya, it's America bashing season 24/7.

Anti_Americanism is a game the entire planets media can play and they do. Including their own.

I'll join in the next time America threatens to wipe and entire people off the map. Till then I'll just stay happy to not be speaking Japanese.
