Hey, WTF happened to Kwanzaa this year? I didn't hear too much about it. Are blacks finally realizing that it is a made up bullshit holiday? A few years back, Neal Boortz (or maybe it was one of the FM stations morning shows)posted (or played) a Kwanzaa song parodying the 12 Days of Christmas that was hilarious. And no, it wasn't this Shirley Q. Liquor routine.

As for Kwanza, it was pulled out of thin air by Ron Everett, a.k.a. Ron Karenga, a.k.a. Maulana Karenga, a Marxist who earlier founded a radical black (i.e., anti-white) organization and was later convicted of felony assault and imprisonment. It was originally conceived as an alternative to the "slave" holiday Christmas. In fact, Karenga denounced Jesus as "psychotic" and called Christianity a "white religion." Apparently, Karenga is ignorant of the long history of Christianity in Africa. Ethiopia has been officially Christian since the 4th century, and the Copts have been in Egypt since the 1st century. However, in a bit of revisionism, Kwanza is now supposed to be celebrated by blacks after Christmas.
Kwanza, now spelled Kwanzaa, comes from a Swahili phrase meaning "first fruits," an oddly harvest-like name for a winter festival. The extra "a" was added so that there would be one letter per day of Kwanzaa celebrations.
The choice of Swahili for both the name of the "holiday" and the names of each day is an odd one, because while Swahili is an East African language, most American blacks' ancestors were from West Africa.
So go ahead, celebrate this "holiday," which was wholly fabricated by a racist, Marxist felon if you want. I'll stick to Christmas.

Posted by: Squidley on December 29, 2006 12:38 AMAs I undestand it, the reason there are so few Swahili descendants is that most of the slaves brought from Africa were the losers in tribal wars, and the Swahili rarely lost. As horrible as slavery was, the alternative was still worse. Had there been no demand for slaves, those people would have been killed for sport and the women used as sex slaves. People tend to ignore that part of slavery, that the slaves were enslaved by other blacks.
I also get fed up with the people who say I owe them something. My fathers family came to America in the 1860's, and were conscripted into the military almost right off the boat. My great grandfather, lost a brother, and another one crippled fighting to free them. My mothers side arrived in the 1890's, long after slavery was over. How do I owe them a damn thing?

The fact that the black sense of outrage over slavery and Jim Crow and the like have only increased since the Civil Rights movement tells you that it's not about the actual facts. Instead, it's about blacks exploiting the guilt of white liberals. It's about blaming Eeevil Whitey for all the ills that beset blacks, including, but not limited to, their propensities towards violence, crime, illegitimacy, drug use, lack of intelligence, and poor economic performance. Oh, and let's not forget that the Moslems were expert slavers. Did you know the Arabic words for "black" and "slave" are one and the same? What's more, the Moslems engaged in a barbaric practice that white slaveowners did not: castration. If the British had not actively suppressed the slave trade, Moslems would probably still be engaged in large-scale slave trading.

I do not buy that blacks are more prone to crime, illegitimacy, drug use, lack of intelect, or poor economic performance. white enablers made them that way, not their genes. From FDR forward, the civil rights movement has been about handing them a carrot rather than teaching them to grow a garden. Prior to the modification of our welfare laws, the blacks had a strong family ethic. Blacks can and do perform as well as whites, its our affirmitive action programs that tell them they don't have to perform, or cannot perform as well as whites. I got to see affirmative action inaction when I worked in manufacturing. They had to have their token black foreman, so when they bid a new foreman slot, they selected the dumbest, laziest black of the bunch. The guy they picked was an alcoholic and drug user. None of the other four blacks who applied had issues. All of them were exceptional candidates and would have competed fairly against any white in the place. They picked Nate instead. After his selection was announced, everyone was parroting about what a good choice he was. I was the only one with the balls to say otherwise. I even said it to his face, and I told him exactly why.
In his first year he was sent home at least a dozen times for showing up drunk. When he was on the floor as a line worker, he was on day shift, as a foreman he was on evenings. he had all day at home alone to drink, and usually did. I know that he will never be advanced because of his condition, and never fired bacause of his color. like wise, no other black will need to be promoted because they have their token colored in the office.
I do not believe that race has any bearing on intelect or performance. Upbringing and surroundings do. Without a good male role model, todays black youth have nothing to guide them through puberty, and the tragedy continues. Whites are falling into the same condition as divorce sends more children to be reared in single parent households.

I used to think much the same way as you do. However, I eventually came to see that the "everybody is the same" notion is flat-out wrong. It's a lie that liberals tell.
You are right about the factors you mentioned: the deleterious effects of fatherless single-parent families, and the collapse of the black family engendered by the so-called Great Society. The real problem lies in blacks' inherently lower civilizational abilities.
How can I say such a thing, you ask? Look at history. The Cultural Revolution of the 60s, which is responsible for most of the societal ills we face, was terrible for blacks. Why? Because until then, white society and its standards were the norm that everyone, including blacks, strived for. With the Cultural Revolution's delegitimization of WASP society and its values, blacks were set adrift to settle to their own, much lower, level of civilization.
Look at statistics. The Cultural Revolution included the Sexual Revolution, which "freed" people to have meaningless sex with strangers, share lots of STDs (including, ultimately, AIDS), and have children out of wedlock. Now as it so happens, about 90% of Scandinavian children live with both parents, regardless of whether or not the parents are married. Only 30% of black children have two-parent families. It appears that black men have far less interest in their offspring than (Scandinavian) white men do.
As for crime, 8.1% of all black men aged 26-29 are in custody, compared to 1.1% for white men of the same age. Furthermore, blacks are seven times more likely to commit murder than whites. Even though blacks make up only about 12% of our population, the number of black murderers has exceeded the number of white murderers in every year since 1986.
Look at the messes blacks create wherever they are in charge politically, like New Orleans, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, South Africa, and everywhere else in sub-Saharan Africa. Corruption and lawlessness abound.
It's incredibly politically incorrect to say this, but given these facts and other statistics, it's hard not to come to the conclusion that blacks, as a group, simply have lower civilizational abilities than whites.
As for intelligence, 90 years of IQ testing by the Army shows a consistent 15-point gap between black and white IQ scores. Similar results were found internationally and published in books like IQ and the Wealth of Nations, The Bell Curve, and Race Differences and Intelligence. These studies also show the following trends for IQ:
Ashkenazai Jews: 115
East Asians: 105
Caucasians: 100
Native Americans: 86
American blacks: 85
African blacks: 67
Aborigines: 62
Bushmen: 54

As we all know, there is a positive correlation between education and income. However, we fail to acknowledge that there is also a positive correlation between intelligence and the ability to get said education.
There are many, many factors involved, and I can do no more than touch on a few of them here. However, if you take the time to re-educate yourself, and critically re-evaluate your indoctrination, you can come to politically-incorrect yet true conclusions. Philip K. Dick wrote, "Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away." The reality is that four decades of Civil Rights, Affirmative Action, welfare, and other social programs to help the blacks have not only not helped, they have, in some cases, done more harm than good. Could it just possibly be that blacks, as a group, are more emotive, less intellectual, and worse at self-governance than whites? Could the facts that demonstrate those things actually be true?
If so, it means that white guilt and white "racism" are responsible for very little of blacks' condition.
How about that? People are responsible for themselves and their actions. What a concept!
