24 WTF

Due to my travails in getting back from Snowmass and my wine tasting on Monday, I missed the start of 24. Fortunately, I recorded it and finally caught up on Friday night. All I can say is, WTF?

How the heck did Wayne Palmer get elected as president? WTF?

Buchanan and Karen are married? WTF?

Chloe's no longer blonde. WTF?

Her ex, Morris, has got a job at CTU and they're back together. WTF?

Turns out Milo dated Chloe a few times. When did Chloe get hot? WTF?

Chloe has learned some social skills and is lecturing Milo and Morris on how to get along. Totally out of character for Chloe. WTF?

Looks like Morris is gonna be the new Chloe. WTF?

So far there's no potential mole at CTU yet. WTF?

CAIR is whining about Moo-slimes depicted as terrorists. No WTF here. It's to be expected. In fact if CAIR wasn't whining it would be a WTF. They should be happy. The regional director of the CAIR equivalent in the 24 world is going undercover. Maybe if we had more Moo-slimes like that, you assholes wouldn't be so disgusting.

Curtis has to have set some sort of record as the longest running black CTU agent. Usually they only last one or two episodes. Curtis lasted over two seasons. Contract negotiations with 24 must be a bitch. Curtis dead. WTF?

I figgered Scott was gonna be the Betty from season 4 but he wound up living. They shoulda killed off the booger eatin' moh-ron. WTF?

Sandra Palmer? How many Palmers are there? WTF?

Jack didn't want to torture the Moo-slime? WTF?

But wait! He's gonna torture his brother, the creepy bald dude from last season. We finally find out who he is. Jack's back! He said twice that he didn't think he could do this anymore, but all it took was a nuke. I kept expecting to hear him say, "Everytime I try to get out they just pull me back in." WTF?

How may Bauers are there? WTF?

At least we won't have to put up with Audrey or Spawn this season. At least I hope we don't.

Buchanan and Karen are married? WTF?

How could you not see that coming? Last 10 minutes of Season 5, when they were wrapping up at CTU, Buchanan asked Karen to breakfast and she said no. It's as clear as the nose on your face! LOL

You do realize that two years has elapsed since Jack was taken by the Chinese, right?

How subtle was it tonight when Jack entered his brother's house and met his "nephew?" In quotes because...

Chloe may not be blonde anymore but she still looks like she's in dire need of taking a dump! Jeez girl, hit the head allready. She's got a major Poop Report in the making. (PoopReport.com)

I've always thought Chloe was hot. Am I weird?

Posted by: Alan on January 23, 2007 01:29 AM

Yes Alan. Yes you are.

Are CAIR sure its 24 they're filling their nappies about? They may have been watching the 6 o'clock news.

Maybe they should be taking reality to court for portraying Muslims as terrorists.

But that seems unlikely as they have clearly never even heard of reality.

At least we won't have to put up with Audrey or Spawn this season. At least I hope we don't.

According to IMDB.com Audrey and Spawn dont appear to be listed as bieng in this season. This is interesting to see who has made the most appearences.

One other thing jack ripped off the cell phone and everybody knew the number and he knew all the numbers after 20 months in china. And it appears to have the "24" super batterey in it also.

WTF? Too funny!

Chloe was always hot with her 'badattitude' now she has good hair. Morris has no hair, I smell a major conspiracy in the works.

How long before Tony comes back to life and kills that annoying laywer lady sister Palmer? If Curtis had to go-then so does she. argh.
Jack's nephew is obviously his kid, he's the spittin' image of his daughter Kimberly.

Who knew that my new fave soap would piss of CAIR?
WTF? How cool is that? The folks at FOX must be doing something right.
Gotta love the DVR!

When they started talking about Jack's father, how many of you thought it was gonna be Donald Sutherland? I did. It's not, though. It's that Cromwell guy. Would Donald have been awesome, or would it have been stupid?

Mindless drival.....

We got a real live melodrama in front of us with star rankings by the LSM for at least the next two years complete with more then enough assholes to go around , meaningless BS dialogue by the boxcar load & fully integrated to boot. Why pay any attention to fantasy when reality is free & available 24 hour`s a day?

The Dimocratic party brings you " The Liberal Socialist World" every day with a cast of Assholes to suit any minority or sexual persuasion. Spoon fed fed to you with a smile is their promise , so far they haven`t failed to live up to the demand. Tune in & find your tolerance level for BS.

Morris was up to no good. He's on the watch list.

And really, Wayne Palmer, just how in the world did that happen? He's spineless, reminds me of Willy. I'm hoping he goes down, but that won't happen until the veep makes an appearance. I liked the way episode 5 ended, with the plastic bag over the brother's head.

Mr Dudley1,
I agree with you? Dishing the dirt about 24 may be mindless drivel to you. But for some of us, it's a good brisk sit and a much needed respite from Pelosi and Fiends.
I can't wait for The Sheild to start up again.

Lisakay.......

Please drop the "Mr"....I spent much of my working life in an office listening to people who did not really mean it call me Mr or Sir. Hey,we are all good friends on Denny`s site other then the AOW`s or troll`s & I really do not have a problem with recreational viewing , It was just an attempt at satire. Apparently this time it was a dud attempt. As penance I`ll watch the show, hope it is as good as "Law & Order"

Have a nice day ... Dudley1

Posted by: Dudley1 on January 23, 2007 02:18 PM

Holy crap! I totally missed the innuendo of Jack's nephew probably being his son. I too was hoping that Donald Sutherland would be Jack's dad.

Posted by: Denny on January 23, 2007 02:27 PM

The true "WTF" here is that this shallow offering is still on and that actual grown up people talk about it. It got way too weird for me very early on. Are people so bored with life that they need to watch this stuff? If you need explosions in your life, then watch Fox News. The bombs there are for real, so is the blood and the scattered body parts. If 24 is a true reflection of our culture, it is no wonder that the Mooseslime world hates us. Hell, who could blame them?

Hey Cair angry about Jack? Maybe they should take the JB Anger Management Course....

and as I always say: There have been no terrorist attacks in United States since Jack Bauer has appeared on television.

Per your thought Denny, Curtis is now history, thanks to Jack.
I'm kinda liking this year- No PC other than the oval office arguments between conservative what's his name and liberal what's her name...Well, excluding the President's sister...
