I think that Sam Johnson has more grace than anyone in the House, and Jack Murtha isn't worth the sweat off Sam Johnson's ass.

What eloquence and heart. As a National Guard Chaplain with three active duty tours under my belt, I can tell you that what he says also resonates with the troops - active or reserve - Air Force, Navy, Marines, Army, U.S. Coast Guard, or our Merchant Marines. Dedicated men and women sacrificing for our freedoms and way of life. God bless each and everyone!

If we cut spending, as is the factual history of how our Congress supported the troops in Vietnam, we will be going down the same path as that wretched history into an abyss that only glorifies defeatism and invites anarchy into Iraq. You talk to the average on the street Iraqi or Afghani, and they will tell you how much freedom means to them! They are appreciate that the United States and our Allies are there giving them the best chance they have ever had at a free democratic society. Yes, I know their constitutions are built upon Shariah law, hell I was there when they were being written. But what I and many other military know who have been there also know, that our media and simpleton society is too lazy to check into, is that they also WANT US THERE fighting along side and willing to die for their freedom against radical terrorists as well!

So speak on Sen. Sam Johnson! You have my undying, devoted and dedicated promise that I will put my life on the line any day supporting our fine military men and women, sacrificing all that good people like yourself have given for my freedoms.

There is no cost as that which is scribed in blood. God Bless our military, and God Bless the USA.

God bless Sam Johnson. It's sad when one of our Congressmen has to make a speech like that; trying to convince a government to supports its own military. What a backward country this place has turned into, and I am so ashamed to be an American right now. Our strong nation and it's honorable heritage is at present declining at an alarmingly rapid pace. When a government refuses to guard its own borders; refuses to protect its own traditions; refuses to support a military it sent to war; and refuses to reign in rampant corruption at just about every level of government, you know the end is just around the corner. Fasten your seatbelts because it is going to get a hell of a lot worse before it will get any better.

That's what I'm talking about.
