Cold February

Earlier I linked to a Don Surber post about the coldest February ever in West Virginia. Seems West Virginia was not the only place with a cold February. Bejus! Damn that global warming!

Damn global warming, anyway.

I guess that\\\'s why they call it \\\"Global warming\\\" and not West Virginia warming. It seems that we have to take the average temperature of the earth to call it global, not just a micro climate. Glaciers are still melting. But Denny\\\'s cool with this. He\\\'ll have beach front property in a few years to leave to his nephews\\\' grand kids. Hell they deserve it anyways. Dennys\\\' nephew will probably give his life for his country in a totally pointless war. Denny never had the balls to do this. He was always safe on his ship.

Coldest summer in decades in the southern hemsiphere, we had bloody icebergs within sight of land for the love of god. They haven't made it that far north in 75 years.

Also a drop of average temperature of 1 degree over the last 90 years and the Pacific has failed to rise 1 millimeter.

We only let Al Gore in ONCE and see what happens.

And haha just for you edification because you're clearly a fuckwit of limited mental capacity. There's a saying in our navy.

In the Pacific you're never more than four miles from land.

Of course that land is directly below you.

Try it some time. I'll loan you the weights.

Hey everyone look, the fuckhead HAHA is trolling again. Can someone please tell him that the ice shelves in the Antarctic have increased by some ridiculously large percentage in the last five years. How does global warming fit into this? Can someone please tell him that the Martian ice caps are melting too. How does global warming (solar system?) fit into this? Can someone please tell him that the idiots that measure average temperature do so in the middle of the fucking largest cities in the world where the local traffic, construction, population etc. might slightly affect these readings (ie. this am in Atlanta it's 35 degrees, 40 miles north where I live it's 29.) Oh wait a second, from his last statement I see he suffers from BDS, so you can't tell him anything. Run a long little one, I hear your'e mommy calling you.

HAHA.......

What kind of an idiot are you anyway? Why do you have to make such a fool of yourself? If you had a twin brother exactly like you, you mom would be the mother of a complete ass.

The only place that is affected by global warming is the dead space between Algores ears, it is not just West Virginia, it is virtually the entire hemisphere which is experiencing one of the coldest & snowiest winters in years.

Yoy had better get your head out of your ass & pay some attention to reality boy before its too late.

haha.....

I see where BBC of all things is running a documentary countering Al Bore's lies. If the BBC is doing this then where else is Gore to turn to?

Posted by: gene Hall on March 7, 2007 08:19 AM

Um the Mars Ice caps are melting because NASA sent 2 SUVS to that planet. It is OBVIOUS to anyone with half a brain its the United States fault that this is happening. ALGORE is right! ALL HAIL ALGORE

Posted by: mike on March 7, 2007 09:20 AM

And if memory serves me correctly, those Rovers are powered by 1) solar and 2) batteries. Oh hell, we have no recourse, even these methods of energy cause warming. Let's just give up now.

It seems that ha ha's over use of the \\backsplash\\ has kept him from learning anything aboot anything ie;Girls. Jeepers HA, shower, crawl out of your Mom's basement and look around. The world is a wonderful place! The sun is shining, and the earth is cooler in temperature than it was a hunert yrs ago. Let go of your liberal fear based on hatred of common sense and smile. Please? Good gravy kid, life is too short.

People get so worked up about a slight fluctuation of weather over the course of 100 years or so. Or even 1,000 years.
In the scheme of things, 50,000 years of Galactic time is equivalent to 1 days time here on Earth. It's simply intellectually irresponsible
to not realize what a small window of time that we're observing. And to also realize how insignificant we really are.
We have no more ability to manipulate global temperature than does a candle to evaporate the ocean.

It's been snowing in Las Vegas. It wasn't substantial, mind you, but it was definitely snow. We got a bit of snow last year as well. Before that, the last time it happened was several years ago. I didn't see it happen that time, because I was living in the People's Republic of Commiefornia. Before that, the last time it snowed was 1998. Before that, 1994. Generally speaking, snow is an isolated incident in a place like this. A fluke, if you will. And yet, this past winter it snowed here on at least three separate occasions. Perhaps four; I may have lost count. Around here, people see that kind of weather as a sign of the apocalypse, because it simply doesn't happen on a regular basis.

This last winter was uncharacteristically cold. I know my city wasn't the only one to experience this phenomenon. According to Al Gloryhound, none of this actually happened, because temperatures are rising, and the ice caps are going to melt, so there's no way the weather could possibly be doing what I just described. And yet it's been snowing in Vegas.

Global warming my ass!

Haha - At least I had the balls to join up. BTW, my last ship was an LST. I served on it for 22 months. LSTs pull right up on shore. On one of our trips we ferried supplies from Da Nang to Cua Viet for a few months. Cua Viet was 8 miles south of the DMZ. We got shelled a few times and our ship took a few hits. Gouged the hell out the radar's waveguide. We discovered that after a storm when the waveguide filled with water and shorted out the transducer. Imagine our surprise when we removed the transducer and it was full of water.

Another one of our missions involved ferrying supplies up the Bassac River where we supplied ships that were supporting PBRs. Those are the boats that actually patrol the rivers. The swiftboats mainly patrolled the coast. I'll bet I got closer to Cambodia than Flipper ever did. Our sister ship got mined when she made the same trip.

You're a typical liberal troll who mouths off without knowing anything, so go fuck yourself! Since you have no manners, not because you have a dissenting opinion, I'm tired of fucking with your bullshit. You have also violated Rules 3 and 4. You started comments with insults and the insults you use are lame. You are outta here! Buh-Bye Asswipe!

HaHa, you've proved once again that all a moron has to do to prove himself is to open his mouth. Here in Michigan we've had the coldest February in 80 years...friends in Phoenix sent pics of snow there, and my brother-in-law left Amarillo, TX in a foot of snow and an ice storm that paralyzed northern Texas and Oklahoma. Thank God for 'global warming' or it would undoubtedly been worse!! Even scientists have announced that the median temperature of the earth's crust had cooled by three-hundredths of a degree over the past five years, you pathetic cheez-whiz chomper....and what kind of pinhead makes comments about vets who gave them the right to make them in the first place by laying it on the line regardless of where they served? A good solution for your problem would be a permanent vacation to France - you'd feel right at home.

Posted by: DrChappy on March 7, 2007 11:56 AM

Plus the fact that not one, but TWO conferences on glo-bull warming in Washington, D.C. were canceled due to what? BLIZZARDS!!!

I think the glo-bull warming scare-mongering has finally hit its peak and saner minds will begin to prevail, starting with French scientist and avowed socialist Dr. Claude Allegre, one the original global warming alarmists, now saying that to his surprise, the many climate models and studies failed dismally in establishing a man-made cause of catastrophic global warming.

Meanwhile, increasing evidence indicates that most of the warming comes of natural phenomena.

Dr. Allegre now sees global warming as over-hyped and an environmental concern of second rank.

To Haha- You a lot of nerve mocking Denny's service to our country (but not yours, asshole). Good riddance, fucktard.

Now go crawl back under the rock you came from and fuck off and die, you worthless piece of sub-human debris.

The Algore followers have changed the rules of the debate. They now call it Global Climate Chance rather than Global warming. Now, any change, warmer in one place, colder in another can be blamed on carbon emissions. This is just a way for the Big Government folks to take our money and give it to people who vote for the BG pols. Just think, thirty years ago we were only twenty five years from an Ice Age. They swore it was coming, they had facts and figures, climate models, experts, and scientists. And what was going to cause this Ice Age? Greenhouse gasses!

The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Run for your lives! Vote for us and we will save you!

Bull Shit, plain and simple.

Posted by: Roger on March 7, 2007 03:45 PM

Roger since 1903 we've had this global cooling/global warming hysteria no less than 6 times (3 of each).

They had to change the name it was making their tiny little socialist brains hurt to keep changing what they think to suit the current doctrine.

There earth is not even warm enough to make Greenland green or to grow grapes in Britian. It has been in the past.

It's so warm in Va that my heat bill is up over $500 this year + the 25% AEP slapped on. Not to worry, this is making Fatass Algore a very wealthy man. There are fools out there shoveling the money to him. He has them on a string and they dance to his tune which is 'give me more money'. The dhimmi's are eating this up simply because it serves their excuse for BDS. What are they going to do when President Bush goes home to his Enviro friendly home and the BDS (mental illness) is still in they're heads? Got kids headed to college, get them into the mental health field. Millions of dhimmi's are coming on board for $500 an hour treatment in the next couple of years.

Scrapiron - I own AEP stock. Keep giving me money!
