I think we should wish the Kiwis and the Aussies a good ANZAC Day.

Thanks for your thoughts. It was cold and raining during our march here this morning, but it did nothing to dampen the number of people who turned out to pay respect.

They're a good sort. One day they'll come around to the way of thinking of most of the developed world. It's just a matter of time.

That being ?

Posted by: David on April 24, 2007 06:01 PM

To put it very simply, not right-wing, ultra-conservative.

Haven't made it Australia yet, but man I LOVE New Zealand. I spent quite a bit of time in Christchurch while with the Antarctica group. Great people all the way around!

Liberalism hasn't destroyed enough of the world for you eh Sally?

Let's remember being conservative is what made this country great and turning liberal is what's sending it down the shithole...

Pre liberals we had a solid education system, respect for life (born and unborn), citizens who weren't government dependant, respectable might (Bin Laden banks on liberal cowardice), stronger families, effective justive system, respect for Christ (even if you didn't believe), strong national identity...need I go on? I wouldn't wish the alternative on anyone.

Stay who you are Aussies. When the liberals fuck this country up beyond repair I'm emigrating to a neighborhood near you. (already thinking about it actually) And guess what, I'll do so legally and I won't expect your country to adapt to me and my culture. I'll gladly assimilate into yours because I respect the sovereignty of a nation I didn't found and the principles it was built on. I wouldn't move there otherwise now would I? I'll also be a productive citizen because I have skills to offer. No welfare for me. Nope. Uh-uh.

You still FOUGHT!

Posted by: kerrcarto on April 24, 2007 06:33 PM

On behalf of everyone here who is me you are totally, completely and utterly wrong Sally.

In the dictionary under wrong there is no description, just a picture of you.

We are a pioneer people conservative by nature and inclination who have fought in every war that we got an invite to when our fellow Anglos needed us.

And we always will. We'll even fight for the French because...well someone has to.

Liberalism is a rotting zombie in Australia and dying horribly in New Zealand.

Liberals are seen for what they are, liars, thieves, cowards and power mad corrupt hacks. The current New Zealand government is falling apart with one corrupt scandal after another making even the most hard core commie say they might just be out of time.

Thank for your opinion, it amply demonstrates the liberal delusion of moral superiority to all readers. We are ANZAC's, we don't work for you girl.

And we can speak for ourselves too.

Thanks for thinking of us, GOC. This is a very important day on the Australian calendar... a day of reflection. But, as is the aussie way, after the solemn remembrance, a day of time spent with mates and beer as well!

I grew up in Canada, but at the age of 26 I made the decision to move to Australia. I've been here 24 years, now (and yes, I think I'll stay!). I'm sad to see the way Canada has gone, but glad I'm here!

I can only imagine that Australia is the way it is because it was, for a large part, peopled originally by those who were less likely to "toe the party line".

I spent a week of R&R in Australia during 1970. Not only did they fight alongside us in Viet Nam, they also accepted us when we were spurned in our own country. A glorious ANZAC day - indeed!

I've always wondered when or where liberals came from to this great country called the USA. Some say they were the immigrants of Jewish heritage who came here in the early 20th century from Europe. Can anyone (Squidly) explain how these scumbags got here and why we put up with their BS? Now, how do we get rid of them?

Gee Lumpy,
I hope you are not offended by the theft of your post. I just stole it, took credit for it, and sent it off to a few liberal sock cuckers who are gonna be pissed at me for doing it. And nobody likes pissing off a lib more than I.
And a great ANZAC Day to the Aussies and Kiwis. We know you have always had our back, and we will always have yours. Even the Dhims can't stop us.

Hear, hear! Happy ANZAC day to our brothers from down under.

Socialist Sally.....

Boy you sure are wrong on this one ......Really,Really Big Time, I have a whole passel of relatives in Australia who would beg to differ with you.they live in Whroonga N.S.W., Brisbane in Queensland, a place called Gympie in Queensland & some are in Adelaide & some went to Melbourne.

Their history is typical, left Ireland at the turn of the last century as did my paternal ancestors& made a new home in Australia, served in several wars, some died , some were prisoners of the Japanese during WW2.They now are in all walks of life but are fiercely independant & lament the anti -gun stance their government has taken.

You know Sally , I think you must have been last in your law class & a lousy attorney to boot.... Did you ever win a case? If you did , it must have been Shit house luck , if your case preparation was anything like your ommission of minimal research before you post, it had to be. Oh well, if Hillary wins the Presidency, you probably could land a job in the justice department. If you do , remember the Clinton history & watch your back.

Gene, liberals are the unhappy by-product of the strong protecting the weak and not exposing them at birth.

This also explains tax department staff and minor government officials.

ChuckS,
I'm more than happy to piss a lib of with a hard truth slap to the face. I'm not upset for having it stolen (unless you make money and don't share lol), because with each liberal that can't handle the truth of those comments then I graciously accept being able to also indirectly slap them in the face. Yes, you using them is like drinking a diet soda. It is less filling but it does still have the same great taste.

gene Hall,
Read "Treason" by Ann Coulter. It gives you a decent idea where they came from.

Posted by: Lumpy on April 24, 2007 10:41 PM

Happy Anzac day mates. Even from surrender socialist sally.

I fondly remember the Aussies in their bush hats while serving in SE Asia. They had our backs then and gave the feeling they always would, as we would always have theirs.
Thanks to all of yours who've sacrificed.

I remember marching with an Australian Boy Scout Troop on the two ANZAC days that my family and I were in Australia, 1970 and 1971. ANZAC day is a strong tradition in OZ in somewhat the same way that Texans, "Remember the Alamo."
