Sent to me by many readers. I especially like when he said he didn't want to be murdered by an "hysterical, self-righteous, carpet-chewing muppet with shit for brains". That was a "wish I had said that" moment.
Posted by denny at April 25, 2007 03:24 PMI hope this guy lives through the week!
Posted by: Mark on April 25, 2007 05:07 PMWhat he says here is very appealing. But before anybody wants to elevate him to sainthood, you should go to Live Leak and look at some of his other videos. His name is Pat Condell, you can search that site for him. He has some unflattering things to say about Americans.
He is not entirely as he seems.

Posted by: Gomer on April 25, 2007 06:20 PMOutstanding! Great video, cool guy. Just wish they still had guns so they could defend themselves when the Muslims show their true faces.

That is such a great line. I love this guy!

Posted by: Sam on April 26, 2007 09:32 AMHas anybody heard about the hate speech bill being pushed by the Dims? It seems as they don't want any criticism of anyone but Christians and especially "white" Christians. And don't ever say anything negative about a homosexual ar any transgender "thing". Free speech pertains to only dimocrats. They know what's best for everyone. God I hate these people! Now arrest me.
Posted by: gene Hall on April 26, 2007 10:55 AMI just finished reading more about the "Hate Speech" bill in congress. This is one scary thing that I never thought could ever happen in this country. It is HR1592. The (World Net Daily) has a great article on this and I suggest everyone concerned should start calling Washington. I knew that the liberals were going off the deep end but this goes beyond that. I wonder how Sally feels about this.
Posted by: gene Hall on April 26, 2007 11:12 AMHmmm. Looks and sounds a bit like Houston Steve, innit?
Posted by: Elisson on April 26, 2007 11:26 AMso there is a right thinking person in britan.

Hi, Gomer! Thanks for checking the guy out. Isolated videos don't often give the whole picture. There was a video about the Koran put out by an atheist. The video was banned by YouTube, and the man created another video protesting the removal. He got a lot of support from the right for his views, but he didn't really give me the warm fuzzies. He had made videos about Christianity as well; it's just that YouTube hadn't removed them!
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is another person who gains much admiration. She deserves it, in that the enemy she is fighting is Islam, and she has actually lived under its oppression. She continues to receive death threats for her outspoken opinions. However, she is not someone I would identify with ideologically on any other issue.
I admit I do find it somewhat comforting that, though these people do not share my views on most topics, they are at least defensive of our western way of life. It gives me some hope that there are people on the left who could set aside their differences to confront the Islamic situation.

he IS a right thinking person!
;-)
Posted by: Prosper on April 26, 2007 02:02 PMProsper, you've been reading too many democrat talking points!
Posted by: gene Hall on April 26, 2007 03:46 PMI love this vid, but if you listen to his others, he's pretty vehemently anti-any-religion. A good number of his posts are just as scathing of Christianity and religion in general as this one was of Islam. His logic is flawed in most of them, but his presentation is good. :-)
The first clue I got to his anti-religious stances was in the Islam one where, at the beginning, he said "until recently religion has been dormant in England" like that was a good thing.
Posted by: Mo K. on April 26, 2007 07:12 PMI love the line "I think that Muslim woman in Britain who cover their faces are mentally ill."
Posted by: DebbieKinIL on April 26, 2007 09:23 PMDenny, I can't agree more on that one. See you're not that asshole when you stop blind french bashing.
Posted by: Diplomate on April 30, 2007 03:23 PMThe guy could be full of shit and still have more to offer than a delusional tiny dicked frog with an inferiority complex... which is well earned.
