What great timing! This is for my new French troll.
Posted by denny at April 29, 2007 08:03 PM Category: French BashingHell Denny, thats part of what we come for, to watch you dismantle trolls. Better to edit his list to something else.
Besides, many of our troops would welcome a french contingent, as long as they are prostitutes and cooks.
Shredding trolls apart is always a great read! Especially the French trolls. I've always enjoyed reading Denny and many commenters here shut them down! Education and entertainment all in one. It's kept me coming back here for a few years now.
I worked all weekend and missed the "French Hate Themselves" thread, so I have no idea what that pussy wrote to begin with. Not that I need any more reason to dislike smelly assholes!
That's not one of your buddies is it, Prosper?
PS-
I'm not calling YOU a troll.

Diplomate posted a lengthy diatribe on French victories dating back nearly 2500 years to when they were pissing off the Romans. His list contained fewer than one hundred battles and included everything France had more than two troops in including Desert Storm and laugh of laughs, WW2. He also included all the major battles of the French Revolution. Denny could just as well edit mine And call it a list of twice as many victories for American forces spaning 1/10th the time.
I wouldn't say France sucks. Actually, it's a beautiful country. The food and wine in excellent and I have a lot of good memories from there. I can say that because I've been there. Paris can be a beautiful city albeit has its problems like all major cities in the world. When I was stationed in Germany, I was told that the Parisians were rude, but when I went there, I found them to be typical city people. Having grown up in NYC, I didn't see them to be any different than your typical New Yorker.
My gripe with France are some of its polities mostly in foreign affairs or their meddling in our business. Also, I am a bit concerned about the influx of Muslims who have immigrated there and are causing some serious problems. I think this a growing problem for France and need to deal with it quickly. That's about it. Every once in a while a French troll wanders over to this blog and gives us their somewhat warped view on issues and depending on how screwed up they are, we beat the hell out of them. Most of the time, it's pretty entertaining. I don't see the fucked up ideas as indicative of all French people anymore than taking one American and their views and assuming that all Americans are the same as that one American. If there European who don't like us, I'm not overly concerned about that. They sure seem to know who we are when they need something from us, like money.
But just the same, the sign is pretty funny.
Cheers
PS, Prosper is not a troll, he has earned his stripes by now. He is a little strange at times.
Denny you said :
"Long list of supposed military victories by my latest French troll. Took up too much space so I deleted them. I could post as many French defeats."
Yea and we could also find American military defeats. What's the point? You know you're bashing us just for fun and 'cause it's easy. You say it all the time.
But attacking our military on WWII to discredit now days France position is just an insult to dead soldiers. It's an insult to American soldiers who gave their life for their allied.
Plus the fact France disagreed on WMD and tried to tell the American people there was no WMD should be enough. There were no WMD, your government lied, everybody knows it, even here in America.
Well at the same time in 2003, this French bashing campaign lied too. This was manipulation to discredit the French. So nobody would believe what they said about WMD.
Why do you think France suddenly sucked in 2003? Isn't it a bit too brutal not to be anything but mass media manipulation?
So why are you giving in this? Let me guess, you're family was already enrolled in French bashing long before that so the occasion is too good?
Posted by: Diplomate on April 30, 2007 03:06 PMDear CharlieDelta, I didn't troll as I did not insult any one.
Jeremy:
"He also included all the major battles of the French Revolution."
Nope, victories of the Republic as a nation, not against other French only but mainly against other countries which got afraid the revolution would spread in their country.
Plus if you had looked closer, the post said it was not an exhaustive and that there were many others not listed. Regarding your american victories list, you inserted civil war victories... So don't criticise my list lol. Plus you also inserted insignificant battles and even a defeat.
Vietnam was a defeat, a political defeat if you want, but still it gave a military surrender at the end.
Denny, ok now I get, as you are ranked among the first when I type french bashing on google, I guess it's a good way to stimulate the traffic and encourage USA-France interesting debate ^^
And i'm not a troll, but I looove to piss you off Denny, you have a demagogic power equal to Bill O Reilly. Which is a compliment, 'cause it means you're very intelligent. An asshole, but an intelligent one :))
Posted by: Diplomate on April 30, 2007 03:17 PMActually Diplomate - France has pretty much hated us since shortly after WWII. I remember asking my father back in the 1950's why the French hated us so much. He replied that usually people dislike people they are indebted to. It's only since 2003 that we have decided to return the favor. You became our "friends" after 9/11 because now the greatest most powerful nation on earth had been attacked by terrorists. You just didn't like it when we fought back.
We really weren't upset about you being against the war. We were upset with Chiraq running around the world actively opposing us so France could keep on making money via the corrupt Oil for Food program.
I'm just wondering. Where did those WMDs get to? He still had them when he kicked the UN inspectors out. Anyway, that was only one of the many reasons we attacked Iraq. The Bush haters have latched onto that as the only reason we went to war. Had it not been WMDs it would have been sumpin' else.
I'm pretty proud of my Google ranking for French bashing. One of my French commenters found this site that way. He's now living in Atlanta going to Georgia Tech for his PHD and I've had him over for dinner a few times. Nice guy.
Posted by: Denny on April 30, 2007 05:15 PMSorry Diplomate - I referred to you as a troll because you posted a long (too long) comment that was irrelevant to the post. That's what trolls do.
There is no question that France was once a glorious nation back in the 19th Century, but you ceased to be an effective world power after WWI. History has passed you by and if you don't so sumpin' about your increasing Moo-Slime population you will be fucked. I will feel sad for Prosper and his children.
You denigrate the United States, but somehow in only a little over 200 years we have become the richest most powerful nation in the history of this planet. We could have wiped Iraq off the face of the globe. We didn't. What we did do was depose a madman who had murdered over 300,000 of his own people. He used chemical weapons (WMDs) to do this. We are trying to set up a stable democratic form of gummint, like we did with Germany and Japan after WWII and the world hates us for this. Go figger.
Posted by: Denny on April 30, 2007 05:47 PMWe were merely enforcing UN sanctions that Hussein repeatedly failed to ignore. Libs use the WMD argument to snooker the uninformed. Hussein violated UN sanctions repeatedly and was put down. nuff said.
Spin that,libs.
Thank you vetfromhell for reminding idiot libs once again of the real reason we are over there. Everytime I see a "clip" of a Bush speech from prior to the invasion, all they show is the one or two lines where he discussed WMD's. Never do they show where he goes into a long diatribe and lists, one by one, all of the resolutions he disobeyed, flaunted etc. WTF is the point of making the rules for these despots if they are not going to be enforced.

What the fuck this has to do with me?? I didn't vote for him! You know Chirac is as much loved by the French as Bush is loved by Americans... which is not a lot, even among their own party they are both failures...
And don't worry, the next gen of French politician will be pro-americans (it's time to forget the misunderstanding that appeared at the end of the war when the French had the impression the USA was considering them as ennemies and when the USA had the impression France was not grateful), I'm not sure we can say the next gen of american politician will be pro France or EU, but I just hope things will improve.
Let's finish on something I agree with you: fuck Iran and fuck Islam!
