Go to GOA and buy one. It helps encourage the liberal 'pucker factor', and at the same time funds a good group of people who don't compromise to the bullshit like the NRA does...

I think we need to start discussing car control after Tonya Bell ran over all of the people in DC. I think they should impose a 7 day waiting period to purchase an automobile and do a background check to make sure that the owner is not addicted to drugs or crazy. I think they need to limit the weight and horsepower so that they will be less deadly. They could ban imports of all automobiles with automatic transmissions. We all know how deadly those are. They could limit the fuel capacity to 10 liters so that when they are being chased by police they would have to stop frequently to refuel. They should also ban mufflers so that people can hear them coming and get out of the way. I think they need to outlaw black vehicles and airfoils. Everyone knows that airfoils make cars look evil. That is at least the obvious things that could be done to make vehicles safer.

Car-control should be at the forefront of every debate, as well as the 7-day waiting period for a pack of smokes. While we're at it, why don't we impose a ban on assault steak-knives? Afterall, someone may or may not kill you with one...

...We'll call it the Brady-Knife Bill...

I'm getting this shirt for my kid.
Get this, my son chose from a list of topics for a paper in 10th grade, he chose gun control or banning weapons. He was the only kid who dared. He wrote a very well thought out and reasonable paper. For example; a #2 pencil could be used as a weapon or a spork in the school cafateria. We didn't offer him any help on the content, just spell checking. For a 15 year old kid, it was a great paper. The teacher gave him a C- and called us in to yelp about how 'our ideology' wouldn't help our child get along in this world or in their school. I defended the paper as it's main thesis was based upon common sense, the boy actually wrote it himself!
Fast forward to Sub School, 250 guys were competing for a job that only had two slots. They had to write an essay on why they wanted the job. He called me and thanked me for the dictionary that I had sent, and told me that he and one other guy got the job and that Osseo Senior High could kiss his Mom's ass! He was now an F.T. Nub.
Oh the Irony.
